20230044781 · 2023-02-09 ·

Systems and methods to perform validation of authentication of a security device in a decentralized network are disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method which can be implemented on a system to, identify telemetry associated with the successful authentication. The telemetry is further in a distributed ledger in the decentralized network and can be used to determine validity of an authentication attempt of the security device by a second user device.

Information display medium and manufacturing method relating thereto

Provided is an information display medium that can enhance a forgery prevention effect. An information display medium (100) includes a light reflection layer (20) made of a metal or a metallic oxide and partially or fully placed on one surface of a substrate, and the light reflection layer (20) includes a first region (30) where first information is displayed by either of or a combination of an outline shape and a shape of an uneven region, and a second information display region (21a) where identification information formed by partial material removal of the light reflection layer (20), the second information display region being set to partially or fully overlap with the light reflection layer (20) where the first information is displayed in the first region (30).

MULTIFUNCTION SECURITY ELEMENT

A security element includes a first transparent film, on which a holographic layer is formed having a holographic surface structure, a reflective layer arranged in contact with the holographic layer having a pattern of non-transparent regions and transparent regions, a color changing layer, and a photoactive layer having dark regions and transparent regions. In first regions, parts of the non-transparent regions of the reflective layer are not overlapped by the dark regions of the photoactive layer. In second regions, the color changing layer is backed by the dark regions of the photoactive layer. In third regions, the transparent regions of the photoactive layer are at least partly in register with the transparent regions of the reflective layer so that the third regions are continuous when passing from patterns outside the non-transparent regions of the reflective layer to patterns outside the dark regions of the photoactive layer.

Optically variable security element having reflective surface region

An optically variable security element wherein the areal expansion whereof defines a z direction standing perpendicularly thereon, and has a multicolored, reflective areal region. The areal region includes two relief structures arranged at different height levels in the z direction. The relief structures are each supplied with an ink coating which produce a different color impression. The ink coating of the relief structure disposed at a higher level is configured in the feature region as a regular or irregular grid with grid elements and grid spaces. The dimensions of the grid elements and/or grid spaces are below 140 μm at least in one direction, so that, in the feature region, for a viewer from at least one viewing angle, the ink coating of the relief structure disposed at a lower level is visible through the grid spaces of the ink coating of the relief structure disposed at a higher level.
