Folder with stand
A folder including a folder body having a first panel and a second panel pivotally coupled together. The folder further includes a stand pivotally coupled to the first and second panels, the stand being movable to a support position wherein the stand is configured to support the folder body in a propped position.
Notebook squaring apparatus
An apparatus for selectively bracing and squaring opposite covers of a notebook includes a portion associated with an inner surface of one notebook cover and a connector associated with an inner surface of an opposite cover. When the connector and unfolded brace are attached to one another, the notebook is held in a generally square configuration wherein the opposing covers are disposed generally parallel to one another.
Self-supporting book
A book has a front cover having a first edge which is unconnected, and an opposing second edge which is connected to a spine. A back cover has a first edge which is connected to the spine and an opposing second edge which is connected to flexible joint or fold-line. The book has a third cover having a first edge which is connected to the flexible joint, that couples the third cover to the back cover, and an opposing second edge which is connected to binding. The front page is configured to fold back about the spine to retain the third cover proximal the second edge of the third cover to retain the book in a propped-up position for reading. A page holder slides along the left and right sides of the third cover and has an opening that allows a page to be pushed therethrough.
Three-ring easel binder with extension supports
A three-ring binder apparatus with extension supports for the secure, hands-free display of up to six pages of material without requiring any other external supports is described. The apparatus facilitates a simple method to turn the pages on an easel or similar freestanding display, and secure them in a desired position. The apparatus is designed as a tool for the display of choreographed workouts, music sheets, and any other situation where multiple pages are needed to be easily accessed. The apparatus consists of a three-ring binder (may be either a freestanding three-ring easel binder or a standard flat three-ring binder), two extension supports, and clipboard-style clips that can be pivoted or folded back into the binder to ease the break-down and transport of the apparatus. The device preferably includes clear pocketed tri-fold sheet protectors or other tri-fold devices.
Searchable binder with security lock
A searchable binder which is operationally compatible with a binder management system having a cabinet with shelves for removable storage of the binder. Each binder has a body with front and rear covers and a spine. Inside the body is a binder mechanism for removably retaining sheet media. Each binder has a binder contact mechanism mounted to the spine at the upper end, a binder lock mechanism mounted to the spine at the lower end, a binder identification circuit electrically coupled to the binder contact mechanism and the binder lock mechanism, and a visible indicator. The binder contact mechanism has a contact element extending outwardly of the upper end of the spine and engaged with one of several first conductive shelf elements of the binder cabinet. The binder lock mechanism has a lock bolt extending outwardly of the lower end of the spine with an end portion engaged with one of several grooved second conductive shelf elements of the binder cabinet to normally lock the binder in the cabinet. When a binder identification signal from a host computer is supplied to the cabinet conductive elements, it is transferred by the binder contact mechanism and the binder lock mechanism to the binder identification circuit. If the signal matches a binder identification code stored in the binder identification circuit, the binder lock mechanism is activated to the release position and the visible indicator is activated to aid the user in finding the binder.
