PASSIVE VARIABLE FRICTION PEN
20230234392 · 2023-07-27 · ·

A writing instrument configured to apply a writing material or liquid to a surface, comprising a socket, and a ball arranged in the socket, characterized by at least one first component which is arranged to come into contact with the ball, wherein the at least one first component comprises a first material having surface properties such that the friction coefficient between the ball and the at least one first component decreases when the force acting from the ball on the at least one first component increases at least within a certain range of forces.

WRITING INSTRUMENT

A writing tip assembly for dispensing a free-flowing low-viscosity ink from a writing instrument may include a micro-spring, a writing ball configured to transfer ink to a substrate, and a second ball between the writing ball and the micro-spring. The second ball is configured to transfer ink to the writing ball. A writing instrument for dispensing a free-flowing low-viscosity ink includes an ink reservoir, the writing tip assembly, and a feeder fluidically coupling the ink reservoir to the writing tip assembly.

OIL-BASED INK COMPOSITION FOR BALLPOINT PENS AND BALLPOINT PEN EMPLOYING THE SAME

[Problem]

To provide an oil-based ink composition for ballpoint pens and also an oil-based ballpoint pen employing the composition. The ink composition inhibits a ball seat from wearing under high pen pressure (writing load: 300 to 500 gf), improves writing feeling, and is excellent in writing performance at the beginning of handwriting, in temporal stability and in ink followability.

[means to solve the problem]

An oil-based ink composition for ballpoint pens, comprising a colorant, an organic solvent, and a polyoxy-alkylene glyceryl ether.

WATER-BASED BALLPOINT PEN

A water-based ballpoint pen contains an aqueous ink composition in which resin particles having an average particle diameter of at least 0.3 μm are blended. The water-based ballpoint pen is provided with a ballpoint pen tip including a writing ball. The writing ball is formed from a mixture that includes a hard phase component comprising tungsten carbide, a binder phase component comprising cobalt and nickel, and chromium.

A molten gold writing apparatus that includes a barrel extending from a top end to an open bottom end. A heating element is positioned within the barrel and includes a rechargeable battery. A cartridge includes a refillable chamber configured to hold a solid gold refill and dimensioned to fit within the heating element. The heating element melts the gold refill and allows it to flow to a tip end of the cartridge. A grip is configured to selectively engage the bottom end of the barrel to cover all but the tip end of the cartridge.

KNOCK TYPE DIRECT LIQUID PEN REFILL ASSEMBLY AND WRITING PEN
20230339254 · 2023-10-26 ·

Disclosed are a knock type direct liquid pen refill assembly and a writing pen. The pen refill assembly comprises an ink cylinder assembly (100), a pen tip (200) and an elastic member (300). An ink guide core (150) is provided in the ink cylinder assembly. The pen tip (200) is arranged at one end of the ink cylinder assembly (100). An ink duct (210) is formed inside and passes through the pen tip (200). A ball member (230) is provided at an ink outlet end of the ink duct (210). The ink guide core (150) partially passes through the ink duct (210), and one end of the ink guide core (150) is abutted against the ball member (230). The elastic member (300) is sleeved at the periphery of the ink guide core (150) and positioned inside the ink duct (210). The elastic member is abutted against the ball member to exert a force, such that the ball member is closely attached to an inner wall of the ink outlet end, the ball member forms sealed contact with the inner wall of the ink outlet, and ink volatilization and leakage are avoided.

The invention is directed to a paint pen having a squeezable paint reservoir, a flexible and resilient tube connected at one end to the reservoir and at the other end to a tip comprising an absorbent and permeable material (relative to the paint in the reservoir). The pen operates by squeezing the tube to provide paint through the tube to the tip at which point it can be applied to a surface. The flexibility and resilience of the tube enables uniform application of the paint to rough surfaces.

Writing ink composition for aqueous ballpoint pen, ballpoint pen employing the same, and process for producing the writing ink composition for aqueous ballpoint pen

The present invention provides an aqueous writing ink composition capable of forming handwriting having both opacity and transparency, also a writing implement using the composition, and further a process for producing the composition. The aqueous writing ink composition according to the present invention comprises a white pigment, resin particles containing styrene-acrylonitrile, a colorant, and a polysaccharide. The content of the white pigment X %, that of the resin particles Y.sub.1% and that of the polysaccharide Y.sub.2% satisfy the conditions of
