Adjustable square
A stepwise and stepless adjustable square for use in carpentry, including: a stock; a blade; a first alignment structure; a second alignment structure; a spring device; a spring expansion-restricting element; and a knob movable between a first position and a second position, wherein in the first position the first and second alignment structures at certain angles between the stock and the blade align and engage such that a force of the spring device is reduced compared to the force at angles where the first and second alignment structures do not align for stepwise adjustment, and wherein in the second position the first alignment structure is moved axially away from the second alignment structure for stepless adjustment.
RADIUS TEMPLATE
Disclosed is a tool including: first and second members that respectively define: first and second forward ends; first and second bodies that extend along respective first and second elongate axises to first and second aft ends, wherein the first and second forward ends are pivotally connected to a pivot member, whereby the first and second members are configured to pivot about a pivot axis, so that the first and second aft ends move toward and away from each other; and a third member that defines a first transverse end and a third body that extends along a third elongate axis to a second transverse end, wherein: a first slide lock is fixed to the first transverse end of the third member and is operationally connected to the first member; and a second slide lock is operationally connected to the second member and the third member.

Stepwise adjustable square
A stepwise adjustable square for use in carpentry, including: a stock; and a blade rotatable relative to the stock around an axis of rotation between a first extreme position at zero degrees, where the blade is parallel to the stock and partly provided in a space of the stock, and a second extreme position at about 270 degrees, where the blade is substantially perpendicular to the stock.
ROOF SQUARE WITH BLADE LOCKING AND RELEASE MECHANISM
A roof square for marking rafters comprising a right angle triangular body with a marking blade pivotally mounted adjacent the right angle. Either side of the square adjacent the right angle is held against the stock to be marked, and the blade used to mark either a plumb cut or a foot cut. The blade retracts to allow marks to be made at a measured depth. The tool can also be used as a conventional square to make 90 and 45 degree marks.

Carpenter tools
A carpenter square includes a triangular body having a first edge, a second edge, and a third edge, wherein the first, second, and third edges cooperate to define a perimeter edge of the triangular body. A fence is pivoted to the first edge for movement among first, second, and third positions. In the first position, the fence is normal to the triangular body in a first direction. In the second position, the fence is normal to the triangular body in a second direction opposite the first direction. In the third position, the fence is coplanar to the triangular body.
