Sliding Adjustable Compass Having a Support
The present disclosure provides a sliding adjustable compass having a support for holding a variety of marking and cutting implements which can be easily replaced when they are used up. The construction of the compass is such that large diameter circles can be marked or cut precisely with the help of a viewing lens, whilst maintaining portability by a modular design.

Woodworking Circle-Drawing Tool
A woodworking circle-drawing tool is an apparatus that enables the user to draw precise circles for an axe throwing target. The apparatus includes a support bar, a releasable anchor, a marker holder, a holder clamp, and a small-target stencil. The support bar serves to support the operation of the releasable anchor, the marker holder, and the small-target stencil. The support bar also serves to keep the marker holder at different distances from the releasable anchor to draw the different sized circles. The releasable anchor serves to secure the apparatus to the target board using an appropriate fastener. The holder clamp enables the secure attachment of the marker holder to the support bar. The marker holder enables the attachment of a marker that can be used to draw the target circles using the apparatus. The small-target stencil enables the drawing of smaller circles often found in axe throwing targets.

Framing square
A framing square including an integrated protractor feature is provided. The framing square includes a blade section, and a tongue section joined at a corner section. The corner section further includes a pivot opening, to rotatably couple the framing square to a workpiece. The blade section includes an array of marking openings. The marking openings are spaced from each other in the array, and the array is positioned a first distance from the pivot opening along a longitudinal axis of the blade. The marking openings can be sized to receive a particular marking instrument (e.g., a pencil or knife) for use with a particular framing square.

Pitcher's circle compass
The invention is an apparatus and method for marking a pitcher's circle for a sport such as girl's fast pitch softball. A spike locates the center of the circle and a cord attached to the spike defines the radius of the circle. A scribe attached to a handle and to the cord is configured to mark the dirt. The scribe defines a marking tip and an indicator portion. The marking tip leaves a track in the dirt that is within a track left by the indicator portion when the handle is in the proper vertical position.
Retinoscopy paddle with integrated axis compass or adapter, and associated method
An improved retinoscopy paddle with lens received through openings extending through the paddle member has an axis compass with indicia for assessing the range of refraction error and axis of astigmatism in the eyes of a patient as part of an optical examination. The axis compass may be formed on the paddle member or on a receptacle member adapted for operative receipt on as associated retinoscopy paddle. A method is provided for integrating a retinoscopy paddle and axis compass.
Cutting device for cutting of a round
In a cutting device for cutting a round, a transparent substrate is arranged on an object to be cut. A sleeving tube is arranged on the transparent substrate. An end of a transverse rod penetrates through the sleeving rod and extends to over the object. The position of the transverse rod in the sleeving rod is adjusted by a locking member. The other end of the transverse rod is fixed to a cutting assembly. The cutting assembly selectively touches the object. A rotating assembly is combined with the transparent substrate and penetrates through the transparent substrate. When the rotating assembly is pressed to touch the object and the rotating assembly rotates on the object to rotate the transparent substrate, the transverse rod moves the cutting assembly to perform a round-cutting operation on the object or paint a round line on the object.
