ROBOTIC SYSTEM FOR PLACING PRINTED MATERIAL INTO BOXES
A packing system includes a conveyor configured to transport one or more containers. Two or more printers are disposed along the conveyors. The printers are configured to print printed material. Each of the printers has a tray upon which the printed material is deposited from the printer. A robotic arm is disposed proximal to the conveyor and the printers. The robotic arm has an end of arm tool configured to pick the printed material from the tray of each printer. A controller is operatively connected to the printers and the robotic arm. The controller is configured to send one or more print instructions to one or more of the printers to print the printed material. The controller is configured to instruct the robotic arm to place the printed material from the tray into the container.

Mail creation method and image forming system
A mail creation method includes forming an address, forming an image, folding, inserting, sealing, and fixing a voucher. In the forming of the address, an image forming section forms the address on an envelope. In the forming of the image, the image forming section forms the image on paper. In the folding, a folding section folds the paper having the image formed thereon. In the inserting, an enclosing section inserts the folded paper into the envelope having the address formed thereon. In the sealing, the enclosing section seals the envelope having the folded paper inserted therein. In the fixing of the voucher, a voucher fixing section fixes the voucher to the sealed envelope. The voucher indicates that postage has been paid.

Method for producing collections from a plurality of different printed products and device for performing the method
The invention relates to a method for producing collections (15) from a plurality of N (N=2, 3, 4, . . . ) different printed products (11a-d), which collections (15) each comprise a stack (13) of printed products (11a-c), which stack is packed in a packaging element (11d) wrapped around the stack (13). A solution that does not require additional material use includes the following steps: providing the N printed products (11a-d): forming an intermediate stack (13) from Nx (x=1, 2, 3, . . . ) of the N printed products (10a-d); providing the x remaining printed products as a packaging element (11d); and wrapping the intermediate stack (13) in the packaging element (11d).

MAILER METHOD AND APPARATUS
A mailer can include an envelope and an enclosure. A method can include: a) providing a blank with envelope and enclosure portions connected by a joint; b) folding and securing the blank such that the envelope portion forms a pouch, the pouch substantially containing the enclosure portion, the pouch being open at one end and having major surfaces, one major surface including the joint at or adjacent the open end, and another major surface including a closure flap extending from the open end beyond the joint; c) reversibly deflecting the flap away from the joint to thereby expose the joint; d) severing the joint while it is exposed; e) folding the closure flap and securing it to the one major surface to close the pouch and secure the enclosure within the pouch. An apparatus can be configured to carry out the above method.
