IMAGE ENGRAVING APPARATUS AND ENGRAVING HEAD
The present invention provides an image engraving apparatus capable of precisely driving a stylus to improve accuracy of image engraving. The image engraving apparatus has a vibration actuator fixed to a floating base and having an output portion configured to output vibration generated by deformation of piezoelectric elements, a stylus supported with a stylus holder to be vibrated and engrave an image on a medium to be engraved, a supporting spring supporting the stylus holder, and a retainer positionally adjustably supported to the floating base to come into contact with the medium.
VIBRATION GENERATOR AND APPARATUS FOR ENGRAVING AN IMAGE
The present invention provides a vibration generator capable of accurately adapting to fine vibration. The vibration generator has a stationary permanent magnet, a yoke for the permanent magnet, a coil fixed to the yoke, four springs provided to the yoke, and a movable piece supported with the yoke through the four springs. The end portions of the movable piece are arranged between the respective two pairs of the projections with first gaps. The central portion of the movable piece is arranged in the through-hole with the second gaps, the second gaps having a size to allow oscillation, which is regulated by the first gaps, of the central portion of the movable piece.
PLATFORM MOVEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Platform movement systems and methods of using the same. A system for moving a platform of the present disclosure can include a first actuator pivotally attached to a base, the first actuator having a first rod positioned therethrough and configured to move the first rod in a first direction and an opposing second direction along a first rod axis; a second actuator pivotally attached to the base, the second actuator having a second rod positioned therethrough and configured to move the second rod in a first direction and an opposing second direction along a second rod axis; an arm attached to the base using an arm connector; and a platform coupled to the first rod, the second rod, and the arm, the platform configured to move about the base upon operation of the first actuator and/or the second actuator.

Engravers
More specifically, the invention relates to providing hand held engravers that can hold a graver closer to parallel to the work while at the same time raising the handle away from the work. The invention is also reversible allowing a graver to be held at a steep angle to the work.
PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR PROCESSING MACHINE AND PROCESSING MACHINE
A protective device for a processing machine is provided. The protective device includes one end portion including an opening portion, another end portion configured to be detachably attached to a tip end tool holding portion of processing machine, a main body portion extending in a predetermined direction from the other end portion to the one end portion and including a hollow portion communicating with the opening portion, and a spherical member rollably supported by the one end portion and protruding in the predetermined direction from an end surface of the one end portion.
Engraving system and method of operation thereof
An engraving system using a laser as a tool includes a laser cabinet with a three-point suspension system for mounting the cabinet on a surface such as a table. The three suspension points are arranged in a triangle with at least one of the suspension points being either in the front center or rear center of the field of translation of the engraving tool in the xy plane. While the other two suspension points are mounted in either the left and right front corners of the field or the left and right rear corners of the field or close to those locations. Using the three triangularly arranged suspension points, at least two of which are independently adjustable in elevation, the laser cabinet can be elevated and oriented so as to maintain the plane of the tool translation field parallel to the target surface of the workpiece during an engraving operation. Where the tool is a laser, the cabinet also carries a gas laser tube and an optical system for directing the output thereof to a nozzle aimed downwardly along the z axis and equipped for programmable translation in the xy axis field.

Scribing-engraving tool holder
Disclosed is a scribing or engraving tool for use to mark, scribe or engrave using a a CNC, engraving or other automated machine. More particularly some examples of the invention include a coolant passageway for providing coolant to the stylus, and others provide a second spring which engages when desired for applying more pressure to the toolbit when desired. In yet another embodiment a coupling system may be used to provide for the rotation of the stylus holder and stylus to provide for engraving.
Method and apparatus with rotating tool changer for automated multiple sides workpiece machining
A method and an apparatus with rotating tool changer for automatically machining multiple sides of a workpiece which is trimmed and machined according to tags placed on the workpiece or preprogrammed sequence. A method that automatically selects and adjusts parametric computer machining code to machine various workpieces sizes. An apparatus comprising a handling and trimming station of parts to be machined, multiple optical, magnetic or radio-frequency identification (RFID) reading systems for processing labels or tags information for sequential workpieces machining steps, a multiple gantries computer numerical control (CNC) station for machining workpieces on various sides, multiple rotating tool changers for selecting tools used to machine workpieces, and a storage station that receives workpieces in sequential order when they have been processed. The moving gantries of the CNC station simultaneous machine multiple sides of the workpiece which in the preferred embodiment is composed of panel for making decorative items and engraved doors.
