Engraving fixture for multiple serially arranged objects
A fixture for facilitating the serial engraving of a plurality of cylindrical objects such as glasses or mugs mounted on individual serially arranged stations along a master base plate. Each station includes a drive structure and, spaced therefrom, a passive support structure. The two structures in each station can be gang-adjusted for object length. In addition, the support structures can be height-adjusted to level the engraved surfaces of tapered objects. All of the drive structures include drive wheel pairs and all are driven by a single stepper motor via a single shaft and individual belt and pulley systems.

The selected marking station can mark the product image the blank workpiece based on the product image data which produces a product workpiece. The robotic manipulator can remove the product workpiece from the selected one of the plurality of marking stations.
TAG HOLDING CASSETTE ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN ENGRAVING MACHINES
A tag cassette assembly for use in connection with an engraving process carried out in an engraving machine includes a single piece cassette body of plastic material, the cassette body including a first major side and a second major side and a periphery formed by minor edges; a tag secured in a capture space of the cassette body; wherein the cassette first major side is configured to provide access to a first side of the tag to facilitate engraving and the second major side is configured to provide access to a second side of the tag to facilitate engraving.
ENGRAVING MACHINE FOR ENGRAVING OFFBOARD AND ONBOARD ITEMS
An engraving machine is disclosed. The engraving machine may have a housing and an engraver located within the housing. The engraving machine may have a slot disposed on the housing for receiving a cartridge including an offboard item to be engraved. The engraving machine may have an onboard storage configured to store a plurality of tags. The engraving machine may have a carrier for receiving the cartridge through the slot and for positioning the cartridge relative to the engraver. The engraving machine may have a pick mechanism for selectively retrieving a tag from the tags stored in the onboard storage and for positioning the tag relative to the engraver. The engraver may engrave the offboard item or the tag based on a user selection.
POSITIONING DEVICE FOR CARDS
The present invention relates to a positioning device for rotatably and rectilinearly positioning a card with respect to a treatment unit having an axis of treatment. The positioning device comprises a card holder for holding a card in a fixed position, wherein the card holder defines a virtual card surface plane coincident with the surface of a card facing the treatment unit once the card is placed in the card holder, and wherein the card holder defines a virtual card center point coincident with the intersection point of the axis of treatment and the virtual card surface plane. The positioning device further comprises a manipulator to which the card holder is attached, wherein the manipulator comprises: a cardanic element with a first axis of rotation and a second axis of rotation; and a virtual pivot point being the intersection of the first and the second axis of rotation.
FIXTURE FOR LASER ENGRAVING LONG HEAVY OBJECTS
An engraving fixture for use with an engraver including a laser moveable along a linear X-axis path wherein the fixture comprises a base structure having two mutually extendable parts to assume different axial lengths thereby to accommodate objects of different lengths. The base can accommodate at an axial mid-point an auxiliary support for especially heavy objects. The base structure includes a support structure carrying the drive wheels and a stepper motor at one end, and a slidable passive support that can be placed at any location on the base member.
Ring holding fixture and accessory system
A ring holder system comprising a ring holder base with a body that can be oriented horizontally and vertically on a flat work surface. The base includes a single mandrel extending from a front end face of the base, angled upper tool mounting surfaces circumferentially offset from a top surface of the base, and a flat rear end face for resting the base in a vertical work orientation on a flat surface. A horizontal tool adapter mount is configured to be removably mounted on one of the angled upper tool mounting surfaces, and a vertical tool adapter is configured to be mounted on the bottom surface of the base in the vertical work orientation. The mandrel includes a threaded mounting ring at an inner end of the mandrel adjacent the front end face of the base for mounting accessories such as vises and pitch cups rotatably on the mandrel in the vertical work orientation.
