Method of creating weathering effects on models
A method of weathering scale and un-scale models comprising creating a custom illustration of a weathering effect such as rust streak, splashed and splattered mud, oil and grease, grime, a crease, a dent, burns and other effects on a background, making an image of the painting and printing the image onto a receptive coating to create a decal, and the decal is applied to the model thereby creating a weathering effect.

The present application can provide a decoration material in which a printed layer having various designs and colors to meet demands and needs is formed on a basic material layer to have clearness and high adhesion. The present application can also provide a transfer film for manufacturing the decoration material and a method for manufacturing a decoration material using the transfer film.

A method of producing preconfigured arrangements of mobile shape-designed particles. The method includes providing a composite structure comprising a substrate and a layer of particle material over a surface of the substrate; lithographically producing a plurality of shaped-designed particles from the layer of particle material such that the plurality of shaped-designed particles remain substantially in a layer proximate the substrate; and at least one of subsequent to or in conjunction with the lithographically producing, immersing the plurality of shaped-designed particles the substrate in a fluid material, at a preselected temperature. The fluid material comprises a depletion agent having particles having sizes and a volume fraction to provide depletion attraction between at least a portion of the shaped-designed particles and the substrate such that the shaped-designed particles remain substantially in the layer proximate the substrate.
Three-dimensional decal with high-resolution image and removable adhesive
A three-dimensional self-adhesive decal is disclosed. The decal includes a semi-rigid base sheet with an elevated coupling structure with an outer vertical wall. The base sheet also includes a removable adhesive layer and a release liner on a bottom surface of the base sheet. The elevated coupling structure may be either an elevated coupling ridge or an elevated foam coupling plateau. The decal also includes an upper 3-dimensional portion thermoformed from a semi-rigid plastic sheet. The 3-D portion includes a bottom-edge, vertically oriented coupling band that is constructed to couple with the outer vertical wall of the semi-rigid base sheet.

Method and device of transferring an impression from a substrate to a surface
The present invention relates to a device and method for transferring an impression from a substrate to a surface comprising a surface coated with first layer of release agent; either a second layer of polyvinyl acetate; and a third layer of mixture of acrylamide and styrene acetate or a single layer of mixture of polyvinyl acetate, acrylamide and styrene acetate; and having the impression to be transferred thereon, and a method of making the aforesaid device and transferring an impression from a substrate to a surface.
User hand-colored temporary tattoos and pens
A method enables a user to apply their own artistic input to a temporary tattoo design (TTD). The TTD is pre-printed on a substrate sheet which includes a synthetic oil which allows for: ease of coloring as the gel pen inks glide easily across the paper; transfer onto the skin with high-quality and vivid color results; and increased longevity of the temporary tattoo. The user first colors in the TTD with gel pens specifically designed and tested for transference onto the skin. Second, an adhesive coating is applied to the colored TTD. The colored TTD is transferred to the skin by placing the colored TTD with adhesive face-down on skin, slightly moistening the substrate with water and then removing the backing sheet. The synthetic oil added to the tattoo transfer sheet enables the colored temporary tattoo to remain on the skin for five to ten days.
