IMPRINTING FILM FOR A BUILDING MATERIAL AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE OF SAME
An imprinting film for a building material, and a system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the imprinting film, a transparent film has first and second imprinting states. In the first imprinting state, a first side of the transparent film includes a pigment photomask defining an image and a second side includes a mold receiving surface. In the second imprinting state, the second side includes a relief of the image on the mold receiving surface. The mold receiving surface is configured to receive a molding material and the molding material hardening into the building material. The transparent film transitions from the first imprinting state to the second imprinting state in response to the second side being coated with a light-sensitive, non-laminate adhesive layer and a light source irradiating the first side.
IMAGE MAKING MEDIUM COMPOSITIONS AND IMAGES
The present invention relates to a macroscopic, two or three-dimensional image-making support medium which is a new reinvented version of a conventional utilitarian fine artist's canvas, armature or image support, the novel image support medium facilitates artistic expression and the creation and display of macroscopic art, design or architecture, made therewith, thereupon or therefrom. The invention also relates to various methods of making such novel image-making support mediums and the works of art, design and architecture made with, on and from them. Examples are new works of art, design and architecture made with very thin, light-emitting devices; works of art, design and architecture capable of interactivity, responsiveness and/or change, and works of art, design and architecture with new and extraordinary aesthetic and/or functional properties from the use of nanomaterials.
Process for producing three-dimensional patterns in liquid-crystalline coatings
The present invention relates to a method for producing three-dimensional macroscopic patterns in liquid-crystalline coatings, patterned layers containing liquid-crystalline materials and produced by said method, and the use thereof in decorative and security products. In the method, the liquid-crystalline coating in a non-solidified state is brought into contact with a printing form for a relief printing method, with the result that depressions which are not deeper than 10 μm arise in the coating.
COMPOSITIONS AND IMAGE MAKING MEDIA
The invention relates to compositions for forming an aesthetic work of art, design or architecture made as, from, with and/or on an image support medium. Compositions of the image support mediums generally include one or more light-emitting devices, one or more non-light-emissive devices capable of change, a form that is partially or entirely transparent or translucent, or a combination of these. Examples are made using organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), thin light-emitting devices, electronic paper technology and polymer compositions with an aspect of their permanence enhanced. Among other variations of the invention are works prepared with a composition or a means of display or installation that optimizes or enhances them aesthetically. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the composition and the image support medium.
Compositions and image making mediums
The invention relates to compositions for forming two and three-dimensional artwork, pictures, works of design and architectural works that are interactive, responsive or able to change. These compositions can include at least one nanomaterial. They can include a light emitter that is one or a combination of: an OLED; a light-emitting display screen that is partially or entirely transparent or translucent; a light-emitting display screen capable of flexing or folding; or a thin light-emitting display screen. In different embodiments, the composition includes electronic paper; a visible tangible transparent or translucent form or display capable of aesthetic change; a visible interactive or responsive intangible hologram; or an organic transistor, a transparent transistor, an organic light-emitting transistor (OLET) or a transistor that is a combination of these; or a conductive polymer. Aesthetic works of the invention are created, developed, changed, reworked or recreated interactively, in a responsive process, repeatedly or continuously.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PIXELATED MODELING COMPOUND ARTWORK
A system, kit, device, and method for generating pixelated modeling compound art is provided. The system or kit can include a modeling tool, a substrate, a plurality of modeling compounds, and optionally a leveler. The modeling tool may include one or more characteristics identifying specific distinct cells or portions of cells of the modeling tool that are associated with a specific modeling compound having a distinct characteristic, e.g., a color. The specified modeling compound may be pressed or inserted into apertures in the cells to provide a plurality of individual volumes of modeling compound deposited on the substrate. The modeling tool may be removed, leaving the pixelated modeling compound art present on the substrate.
