Method of forming a balanced disc with angled lip
In order to provide a balanced bent lip disc, the applicant routinely had issues with rippling at an outer circumference edge of the lip. Due to the geometries involved in a 3½ inch disc bent to provide an outer lip of ½ inch at 45 degrees, 0.1145 of excess circumference is created thereby providing a ripple effect. The applicant discovered that simultaneously embossing the lip while bending the lip could reduce this rippling effect (and the outer circumference at the edge) by at least 75 if not 90 or 95% of a non-embossed lip bent in the same manner.
CAN
Provided is a can with a shoulder portion decorated in a novel way. A can includes: a trunk portion; a mouth portion smaller in diameter than the trunk portion; and a shoulder portion provided between the trunk portion and the mouth portion, gradually decreasing in diameter from the side of the trunk portion toward the side of the mouth portion, and having a printed layer and a coating film respectively formed by printing and coating. The shoulder portion includes: a straight portion having an inclined cross-sectional shape along a can axis C; a lower curved portion that is a curved portion connecting the straight portion and the trunk portion; an upper curved portion that is a curved portion connecting the straight portion and the mouth portion; and an embossed portion provided only in the straight portion among the straight portion, the lower curved portion, and the upper curved portion.
Method for mass production of customized decorative art
A method of producing customized artwork includes forming and finishing a plurality of backdrops by cutting and/or engraving sheet metal. Based upon an order received for a customized artwork a particular backdrop is selected and a customized ornamental component is produced in sheet metal. If the backdrop and customized component are prone to galvanic corrosion, insulation may be provided between the customized component and backdrop and to insulate fasteners from either the customized component or backdrop. The method reduces lead times and production costs for customized artwork, while improving quality of the final product.
Clamping device
A clamping device has an actuator that moves linearly and is actuated by a drive. A pivoting clamping element is operatively connected, via a toggle lever mechanism, with the actuator. The toggle lever mechanism includes a drive-side adapter and a hand lever-side adapter. The drive side adapter and hand lever side adapter can be adjusted relative to one another to define an opening angle of the clamping element. One of the adapters has a profiled bar extending in a direction of actuation. The other adapter has an insertion region to accommodate the bar. A fixing element is provided in one of the adaptors to define the location of the adapters relative to one another. The fixing element can be clamped against the profiled bar and also against an insertion region.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING EMBLEM WITH INCORPORATED IC CHIP
A device and a method for manufacturing an emblem of thermoplastic synthetic resin with an incorporated IC chip by high frequency induction heating without damaging the IC chip, the device including: an upper metal mold having with a fusion cutting blade; a support frame along the perimeter and upper surface of the table; a slide board on top of the table that is slidable in axial directions relative to the table; a metal plate on the upper surface of the slide board; wherein pressing the upper layer material with the mold from above and subjecting the material to high frequency induction heating, the IC chip is placed in an upper position of the recessed section, then the slide board is driven to slide below the mold and subsequently the heating operation is executed without any risk of applying pressure onto the IC chip.
Expandable Package Filler or Ornament
An expandable package filler or ornament includes a stack of sheets, such as tissue paper, foil, etc. The stack is bound together, such as by a fastener. A generally spiral cut extends from a peripheral edge of the stack toward the center of the each sheet. The cut forms each sheet into a generally spiral strip ending in a peninsula portion. Grasping the peninsula portion, lifting and shaking the stack causes the strips to fall and entangle with each other. The resulting structure is decorative and may be used to stuff a gift box, bag or basket.
Floor panel, as well as method, device and accessories for manufacturing such floor panel
A floor panel has two pairs of opposite edges so at least at one pair of opposite edges the floor panel is provided with coupling parts formed in one piece with a substrate of the floor panel. A relief is provided at least with a plurality of embossments in a synthetic transparent material of a top layer of the floor panel. The embossments are performed deeper than the synthetic transparent material, and the printed decor and an underlying layer of the substrate are embossed. The underside of the substrate is undeformed.

Method and apparatus for producing three-dimensional emblem made of thermoplastic synthetic resin
A method wherein a bulky three-dimensional emblem can be made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin containing a vapor-deposited-metal laminated film. An apparatus for producing a three-dimensional emblem made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin includes a slide jig in which an electrode flat plate die and an electrode projecting die are slidable in a horizontal plane, an electrode recessed die capable of approaching and separating from the slide jig in a vertical direction and at a position where it can oppose the electrode flat plate die and the electrode projecting die, and a high-frequency oscillator that performs high-frequency dielectric heating by continuously generating a high-frequency voltage across the opposing dies, wherein recesses form in a surface of the electrode flat plate die opposing the electrode recessed die, and during high-frequency dielectric heating, a portion of the lower layer material enters the recess and is held on the electrode flat plate die.
METHOD FOR GENERATING THREE-DIMENSIONAL ARTWORK
A method of generating an enhanced visual three-dimensional visual effect to wood sculptures. The includes boiling laminated wood formed into a shape until the plurality of lamination layers physically separate so that the separate lamination layers may be independently pressed. After the separate lamination layers are dried, they can be adhered to each other to reconstitute the formed shape thereby affording the enhanced visual three-dimensional visual effect.
