The present disclosure relates generally to surface panels for covering a building surface. The disclosure relates more particularly to a surface panel kit and system including a set of panels for attaching to a support structure. Each of the panels includes opposing ends, and each end includes one of a group of end configurations. A first end configuration is mateable with a first portion of the group and is unmateable with a second portion of the group, and a second end configuration is mateable with a third portion of the group and is unmateable with a fourth portion of the group. The set of panels includes at least three panel types including a first panel type with the first and second end configurations, a second panel type with the first and without the second end configurations, and a third panel type with the second and without the first end configurations.

Irregular tessellated building units

A structural wall unit system includes a plurality of wall units having at least one face being a rotational tessellation. The face has at least two irregular sides extending therefrom. Each side of the wall units have at least one spacer or connector configured to engage other wall units. The structural wall unit system also includes a plurality of starter course units, where each starter course unit has a portion of a primary rotational tessellation element having at least one irregularly shaped side that is an image of the first side or the third side. Each irregularly shaped side of the starter course units have at least one spacer or connector configured to engage the wall units, and the starter course units have at least one straight side. The starter course units and the wall units are configured for assembly as a structural wall having a natural, random appearance.

COMPOSITE MATERIAL SHELL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

A composite material shell having a base plate made of thermoplastic resin and reinforcing fibers and multiple decorative pieces. Each of the multiple decorative pieces is made of a composite material containing thermoplastic resin and reinforcing fibers. An area of each of the multiple decorative pieces is smaller than an area of the base plate, wherein the multiple decorative pieces are non-directionally arranged, are overlapped, and are welded on the base plate whereby the composite material shell provides unique reflection and depth variations of visual effect.

Full-body marble-patterned glass mosaic and preparation method thereof

The present invention discloses a method for preparing a full-body marble-patterned glass mosaic, comprising mixing a glass powder with an additive to obtain a mixture; adding water to the mixture and mixing thoroughly; granulating and sieving to obtain base clay body powder; mixing a colorant and a flux according to a specific ratio to obtain a colorant mixture in powder form; distributing the base clay body powder and the colorant mixture into multiple layers via a mold; press-molding to obtain a clay body; firing the clay body to obtain the full-body marble-patterned glass mosaic. Accordingly, the present invention provides a full-body marble-patterned glass mosaic prepared by the method described above. The glass mosaic of the present invention has a strong layering texture and a well-defined structure, and it faithfully resembles the pattern and texture of natural marble.
