Apparatus is provided for an accessory for a paint can. The apparatus comprises a roughly cylindrical frame disposed for being securely seated on a paint can, which may securely receive the original paint can lid or a replacement lid. The apparatus may further comprise a sealable spout; an air vent; a rod for wiping paint from a brush; concavities to allow the handle to be used; a splash guard; a collar for securing the apparatus to a paint can; and/or a lid. A user may use the apparatus to store paint, and paint using the paint in the can, or poured from the can, without paint being wasted and covering the can. An apparatus for wetting a roller (e.g. with paint) includes a liquid containment area having a first side wall, a second side wall, a first end wall and a second end wall, and a sloping bottom section connected to form a rectangular container capable of holding a liquid. The sloping bottom section slopes such that a first end of the rectangular container is deeper than a distal opposing end such that the liquid tends to drain and pool in the first end. A lip extends inwardly continuously around the top edges of the side walls. The lip reduces spilling of paint, adds stiffness to the tray, and provides a base for the attachment of a roller cleaning mesh. In some embodiments, a roller cleaning mesh is mounted to the lip above the first end for rolling a roller over to remove debris from the roller.

A wash-free air-guiding cover includes a cover having a body with a fixing seat disposed on a side thereof. A ventilation tube is disposed on the fixing seat and includes a ventilation hole intercommunicated with the other side of the body. An air guiding device is mounted to the fixing seat and includes a tube having first, second, and third air guiding spaces. The air guiding device further includes first and second sealing members and first and second flow guiding rods. Air flowing into the tube must flow zigzag through the first, second, and third air guiding spaces and between the first and second flow guiding rods and the second and third air guiding spaces, assuring smooth flow of air during the painting operation and avoiding the paint from leaking via the ventilation tube and the ventilation hole of the cover.

Coating material container

Provided is a container having a container body, a bail attached to the container body, and a flexible band attached to a rear of the container body. The flexible band has a first end attached to the rear of the container proximate a top of the rear and a second end attached to the rear of the container body proximate a bottom of the rear. The flexible band is movable between a first position spaced a first distance from the rear, a second position spaced a second distance from the rear less than the first distance to allow the container body and the bail to be grasped at the rear without interference by the flexible band, and a third position spaced a third distance from the rear greater than the first distance to provide space for a user's hand between the rear of the container body and the flexible band.

A container liner that can be flipped on top of another same liner to provide a liner-lid combination that forms an enclosure for storing a coating and/or coating utensil therewithin. The sidewalls of the liner provide an upper rim with upper mating face which engages against the corresponding upper mating face of another same liner to form a face seal along a majority of the upper rim. The opposingly interfaced liners form a section in which the ribs of the respective liners are in juxtaposition to each other in a laterally spaced apart relationship to define a through-opening that is configured to permit a portion of a coating utensil such as a paintbrush to extend therethrough. In addition, the liners may have a feature which allows the same liners to be nested while facing the same direction, allowing for ease of storage while the liners are not forming an enclosure.
