Motorcycle Wheel
A motorcycle wheel is provided, in particular a motorcycle wheel suitable for use on an enduro motorcycle. The wheel includes a cast or forged rim having integrally spokes which extend toward a central hub connection region. The central hub connection region is configured to receive a hub element in a detachably fastened manner. The hub element forms a hub of the motorcycle wheel which is connectable to a motorcycle.

A wheel disc comprises a wheel mounting portion defining a wheel axis, a plurality of spokes radially extending from the wheel mounting portion, and a rim junction on at least one spoke of the plurality of spokes. The rim junction is at an end of the at least one spoke opposite the wheel mounting portion. A first portion of the rim junction extends in an axial direction. Second and third portions of the rim junction extend in a circumferential direction. The axial direction is parallel to the wheel axis and the circumferential direction is in a plane perpendicular to the wheel axis.
Method for Producing a Cast Vehicle Wheel
A method for producing a one-piece cast vehicle wheel, the wheel having at least one hub portion connected to a wheel rim via at least one spoke oriented in the radial direction of the wheel, in which at least one lost core is inserted in a molding of the casting machine, the one-piece vehicle wheel is cast, and the lost core is removed from the cast vehicle wheel and thereby forms at least one opening in the spoke. A one-piece cast vehicle wheel formed by the method is also provided.

A method for producing a one-piece cast vehicle wheel, the wheel having at least one hub portion connected to a wheel rim via at least one spoke oriented in the radial direction of the wheel, in which at least one lost core is inserted in a molding of the casting machine, the one-piece vehicle wheel is cast, and the lost core is removed from the cast vehicle wheel and thereby forms at least one opening in the spoke. A one-piece cast vehicle wheel formed by the method is also provided.

Said vehicle wheel comprises an annular portion (110), a plurality of spokes (120) and a hub portion (130) integrally formed by mould injection of fibre reinforced or carbo nano tubes containing thermoplastic, wherein each of the plurality of spokes (120) comprise a substantially Z-shaped cross section with a middle leg (122) and a pair of outer legs (121, 123), wherein the angle (γ) enclosed by each of the pair of outer legs and the middle leg is greater than a right angle and wherein the length of the middle leg (122) increases from the annular portion (110) toward the hub portion (130).

The invention relates to a stable one piece wheel, which is particularly suitable for cycles having an increased system weight such as electrically powered bicycles or cargo bikes, and a method producing said vehicle wheel. For the edge treatment, a cutting tool as hale type tool for non-rotational processing is used, and the cutting tool is provided with a processing blade having a recessed blade edge having an R shape or polygonal C shape protruding from an outer peripheral surface on a side of a tip end of the rod-shaped cutting tool connected to a rod-shaped shank portion. A processing machine capable of CNC of four or more axes is used. With the cutting tool standing upright against a disc surface, the blade edge of the processing blade is applied to the spoke edge, and the cutting tool is continuously moved relative to the spoke edge along a ridgeline of the spoke edge for scraping.

Vehicle wheel
A vehicle wheel includes a hub portion attached to a vehicle, a substantially cylindrical rim portion, and a plurality of spoke portions connected to the rim portion and the hub portion. The plurality of the spoke portions have a window portion that penetrates in a wheel axial direction. An inclined surface is provided on a wheel back side of each of the spoke portions such that the inclined surface inclines toward a wheel front side from a center in a wheel circumferential direction toward the window portion. The inclined surface is provided at a portion including one end portion or both end portions in the wheel circumferential direction.
