Low impact turf wheel
A low impact turf wheel for significantly reducing the adverse effects of frequent travel over turf by a lawn mower includes a wheel rim having an inner and outer surface, a hub arranged within the wheel rim, wherein the hub includes a central portion for mounting the turf wheel, and a plurality of spaced apart stems extending perpendicularly outward from the outer surface of the wheel rim. The stem includes a stem surface extending perpendicularly to the stem and a lug extending radially outward from the stem surface. The lug includes a lug face parallel to the stem surface, wherein the combination of the stem surface and lug face provide a ground contacting tread.
GUARD FOR COMPACTOR VEHICLE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A guard for a compactor vehicle that includes a base and a cap. The base comprises a body and a retention feature. The body defines an underside, configured to engage a wheel of the compactor vehicle, and an opposing cap-facing side. The cap comprises an outer surface and a retention feature. The outer surface defines a compaction surface. The retention features of the base and cap interlock with one another to secure the cap to the base. A cavity is defined in the underside of the base.
WHEEL AND TIRE ASSEMBLY
A wheel assembly includes a rigid wheel and an airless flexible tire with certain performance characteristics of a pneumatic tire. The rigid wheel includes a central portion and a plurality of circumferentially spaced mounting elements removably attached to a radially outer margin of the central portion. The tire is mounted on the wheel and engages the mounting elements such that portions of the tire not engaging the mounting elements are separated radially from the wheel by a space. The tire is configured such that portions of the tire not engaging the mounting elements flex inwardly toward the wheel when subject to ground engaging pressure, thereby minimizing ground penetration and soil disruption. The tire may include one or more tension elements embedded in the tire to increase the tire's strength and resilience.
MECHANICAL AUXILIARY TRACTION SYSTEM
An auxilairy traction assembly adapted to be connected to a first wheel of a first tire of a vehicle. The auxiliary traction assembly including a second tire and a second wheel, the second wheel is a one-piece elongated tube having a first end adapted to be connected to the first wheel of the first tire and a second end housed in the second tire, the first end of the second wheel has a first flange having a curved inward shape that fits into a central hole of the first wheel, the second end of the second wheel has a second flange having a curved outward shape; and when the auxiliary traction assembly is connected to the first wheel, the first tire is spaced apart from the second tire by 2 inches by the one-piece elongated tube of the second wheel.
Sinusoidal wheel
A wheel set assembly having a plurality of sinusoidal channeled wheels. The sinusoidal channeled wheels having a sinusoidal channel disposed around a circular exterior surface of each of the sinusoidal channeled wheels. The wheel set assembly allows for better maneuverability and longevity in comparison to other materials handling equipment wheels because of the sinusoidal channels. The sinusoidal channels also provide heat dissipation along with the ability to push debris out of the way of the materials handling equipment.
FARM IRRIGATION WHEEL
A wheel having a circular ring is provided. The circular ring has a rotational axis and an outer surface. A plurality of lugs is mounted in side-by-side positions on said outer surface of the circular ring. Each lug of the plurality of lugs has: a center rib, a first leg and a second leg, each leg extending from the center rib laterally and opposite of each other, and a lug plate adapted to connect the first leg to the center rib. The outermost point of each center rib may form a circular pattern that is coaxial with the rotational axis. The wheel may have a rim nested within said circular ring, said rim having a plurality of alternating scalloped protrusions, wherein said rim is configured to provide suitable clearance for tools during lug installation and removal while increasing the load capacity of said wheel.
Tooth for compactor vehicle and associated method
A tooth for a compactor vehicle that includes a base and a cap.
FARM IRRIGATION WHEEL
A wheel having a hub and a circular ring is provided. The circular ring has a central axis, an outer surface having a first outer edge and a second outer edge, and a plurality of holes disposed on the outer surface. Additionally, the wheel has a plurality of spokes each being adapted to attach to both the hub and the circular ring, and each of the plurality of spokes being concaved and arranged in an alternating pattern. A plurality of lugs is disposed on the outer surface of the circular ring, and each of plurality of lugs has a first leg and a second leg, each extending from a center rib and a lug plate adapted to connect the first leg to the center rib.
Wheel for use with irrigation equipment
A wheel, typically for use in conjunction with an agricultural irrigation system such as a pivot or wheel line. The wheel has a disc shaped body having a hub to attach to an external frame. The wheel has a plurality of feet attached to the circumference of the body. The feet are generally channel shaped having two ends at either end of the channel. The feet are positioned at the circumference of the body either on the circumference or in indentations or grooves on the circumference such that the ends of the feet overhang the body. Preferably the feet have a space, opening or void between the feet to allow for the passage of snow, mud or other material.
