The present disclosure provides a method of manufacturing a one-piece wheel having a hollow structure for noise reduction. At least one embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method of manufacturing a one-piece wheel having a hollow structure for noise reduction, the method comprising: fabricating, by using one or both of gravity casting and low-pressure casting, an integral casting in which a disk portion and a wheel rim portion are integrally formed, wherein the rim portion includes an annular protrusion radially protruding from an outer circumferential surface; forming at least one cavity by bending the annular protrusion through flow forming to provide a bending portion, resulting in the cavity using the bending portion and one side of the disk portion; and performing a friction stir welding between the one side of the disk portion and one end of the bending portion.

The invention relates to a method for producing a bent torsional profile comprising the following process steps: a) provision of a plate made of planar sheet metal, b) reshaping of the plate through the introduction of a bent trough oriented in the longitudinal direction of the plate in a central length portion (6) of the plate at a distance from the front edges of the plate, forming legs between the trough and the longitudinal edges of the plate, c) reshaping of the legs in such a manner that an open profile is created, d) reshaping of the legs in such a manner that a hollow profile is produced, wherein a longitudinal gap is formed between the two legs over the entire longitudinal extent thereof and wherein an air gap is created between the legs and the trough in the region of the trough, e) joining of the two legs over the entire longitudinal gap.

A vehicle axle body is provided for incorporation into a vehicle axle. The vehicle axle body may be comprised of first and second axle body pieces. The first axle body piece may define at least a portion of a lower surface of the vehicle axle body and at least a portion of one of a front surface and a rear surface of the vehicle axle body. The second axle body piece is secured to the first axle body piece and may define at least a portion of an upper surface of the vehicle axle body and at least a portion of the other one of the front surface and the rear surface of the vehicle axle body. The thickness of the first and second axle body pieces may be different. Suspension component supports may be integrally formed with the upper and/or bottom surfaces of the axle body.

The wheel, despite having a low weight, provides adequate rigidity and strength and can be produced in a simple manner, while maintaining design flexibility. The main support of the wheel has a plurality of spokes, and a plurality of covering parts for at least partially covering the spokes, wherein the main support and the covering parts support the rim ring.

and a sound-absorbing hole machining process of forming a sound-absorbing hole for communicating between the resonance chamber and an interior space of a tire in the forming end.

Forming the disc region 202 to obtain a disc profile 401 and a nave region 403, forming the centre region 102, inboard end 103 to obtain a straight rim profile 402. Spinning and forming outer end 405 of the straight rim profile 402 to obtain an outboard flange 502a and spinning the straight rim profile 402 to obtain a concave rim profile 601a with a preform inboard flange 602a. Spinning the concave rim profile 601a to obtain bead seats 701a, well region 703a and, forming the preform inboard flange 602a to obtain an inboard flange 704a.
