Hub unit bearing
Provided is a hub unit bearing wherein a cover can be firmly fitted with an outer ring member, and it is difficult for foreign matter to enter inside through a water drainage hole formed in the cover. The cover that covers the inside end section in the axial direction of the hub unit bearing includes a disk section, a small-diameter cylindrical section bent in the axial direction from the outer perimeter edge section of the disk section and a large-diameter cylindrical section. A cut and raised section that is cut and raised toward the inside in the radial direction is formed in the small-diameter cylindrical section, and a water drainage hole that passes through from inside to outside the cover is provided in the portion that is cut and separated from the small-diameter cylindrical section.
AXLE ASSEMBLY WITH OUTBOARD AXLE BEARINGS
An axle assembly having an axle housing, an axle shaft, a plurality of axle shaft bearings and a seal. The axle housing has a tubular member and an end flange that is coupled to the tubular member. The axle shaft bearings and the seal are received in the end flange and are engaged to the axle shaft. The axle shaft bearings support the axle shaft for rotation relative to the axle housing. The seal is sealingly engaged to the end flange and the axle shaft. A method for assembling an axle assembly is also provided.
Assembly of outer ring and knuckle, and wheel bearing assembly including same
An assembly of an outer ring and a knuckle comprises an outer ring used in a wheel bearing and a knuckle for connecting the outer ring to a suspension system. The outer ring comprises a body having a hollow formed in an axial direction of a rotation axis, a mounting portion extending in an outer radial direction and a circumferential direction of the body and having a plurality of first mounting holes formed thereon, and at least one mating protrusion formed on an outer circumferential surface of the body. The knuckle comprises a step portion configured to mate with the mating protrusion in an axial direction of the body. A plurality of second mounting holes corresponding to the plurality of first mounting holes are formed on the knuckle. The mating protrusion has one of a plurality of mating shapes having different shapes.
Hub Bearing System
There is disclosed a hub bearing assembly having a housing having an internal cylindrical opening; an annular bearing accommodated within the cylindrical opening of the housing; and a cylindrical pin accommodated within the annular bearing, wherein the housing and the cylindrical pin rotate relative to each other.
SPLIT TORSION AXLE FOR TRAILERS AND OTHER VEHICLES
A split torsion axle is configured to provide the advantages of a torsion axle while also allowing for the independent adjustment of related wheel assemblies positioned on opposite ends thereof. The split torsion axle also provides for additional stability provided by having a continuous axle member spanning the width of the trailer or vehicle upon which the split torsion axle is deployed. To provide these capabilities, the split torsion axle comprises a first torsion axle beam and a second torsion axle beam, which are rotatably coupled to one another by a central joint. The central joint comprises a first spindle coupled to the first torsion axle beam, a second spindle coupled to the second axle beam, and a bearing assembly rotatably coupling the first and second spindles to one another. Both the first torsion axle beam and the second torsion axle beam are configured to be coupled to respective wheel assemblies.
Wheel bearing unit
Wheel bearing units are disclosed. In one example, a wheel bearing unit includes an outer ring element and an inner ring element, between which there are arranged at least two rolling body rows. The inner ring element may have a radial flange which is fastenable to an axle body or to a wheel. The radial flange and/or the inner ring element may have at least one projection on a surface facing toward the outer ring element.
Hub for a bicycle
The present invention relates to a hub for a bicycle, having a hub axle, a hub sleeve which is mounted rotatably on the hub axle via a bearing arrangement, a driver which is mounted rotatably on the hub axle via a bearing arrangement and is coupleable to the at least one hub sleeve in a torque-transmitting manner, wherein the bearing arrangement has at least one axially inner bearing and at least one axially outer bearing. At least one fastening element is provided, which fixes at least the inner bearing of the bearing arrangement in its predetermined position on the hub axle by a local or sectional enlargement of the cross section of the hub axle.
Axle assembly
An axle assembly with a housing, a shaft received in the housing, a shaft bearing supporting the shaft for rotation relative to the housing about a shaft axis, a differential assembly, an annular band and a secondary retainer. The shaft bearing has an inner race, which is received on and directly engaged to the shaft, and an outer race that is received on and directly engaged to the axle housing. The differential assembly has an output member that is non-rotatably coupled to the shaft. The annular band is fixedly coupled to the shaft at a location along the axle shaft axis between the inner race and the output member. The secondary retainer is disposed along the axle shaft axis between the annular band and the output member and is configured to limit movement of the annular band along the axle shaft axis in a direction toward the output member.
