A rim (3) for a rolling assembly has a flexible extender, the rim having an axis of rotation DD′, said rim having a rim seat (31) extended axially towards the outside by a rim flange (32), said rim flange (32) having a first portion (321) that is oriented substantially in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation DD′ and situated radially on the outside with respect to said rim seat (31), said first portion (321) being extended radially and axially towards the outside by a connecting portion, characterized in that the radial height measured between the intersection point between the line of the rim seat and the line of the first portion, and the end of the radially outermost portion of the rim flange (32) is less than 10 mm.
Safety deflation wheel seal design
A wheel includes an inner wheel half defining a plurality of inner bolt apertures and having a mating surface. The wheel also includes an outer wheel half defining a plurality of outer bolt apertures and having an inner surface. The plurality of outer bolt apertures are configured to be aligned with the plurality of inner bolt apertures such that each of a plurality of bolts may be received by one of the plurality of outer bolt apertures and one of the plurality of inner bolt apertures, forming a seal between the mating surface and the inner surface in response to each of the plurality of bolts being tightened. In response to a predetermined number of bolts becoming loose, a first portion of the mating surface may separate from a second portion of the inner surface, breaking the seal.
LOW PROFILE POSITIVE GRIP RIM LOCK
The present invention is a low profile positive grip rim lock for use on off-road vehicle wheel assemblies utilizing standard safety rims, tires, and inner tubes. The rim lock provides a consistent grip with the bead of a tire regardless of the thickness of the bead of the tire, and never contacts the rim. The low profile eliminates the potential of having a pinch flat when the wheel assembly is impacted at the rim lock location.

Saddle lock ring for rear dual wheels of heavy transport vehicle
The present invention relates to a novel design for quick tyre change in rear dual wheel assembly in a heavy transport vehicle. The invention provides a safe design that comprises a two-piece segmented saddle lock ring retained in position by an endless ring. A self-locking taper provided on the inside of endless ring can be pressed against the taper provided on the two-piece segmented saddle lock ring. The endless ring retaining the two-piece segmented saddle lock rings due to wedge action of self-locking taper cannot move from its position until an external force is applied on the endless ring towards the direction of the tyre position. The endless ring acts as a hood over the two-piece segmented saddle lock rings and prevents any loose parts flying off the rim during the tyre burst. Further in this safe design both inboard and outboard rim tyre support components are identical as both rims are of same diameter.
