This invention discloses a novel product of a Wheel Hub Assembly for damping and noise reduction. It absorbs vibration and noise of brake rotor and brake drum in the braking process by changing flange face structure as well as adding damping coating. During the production, the flange face of the Wheel Hub Assembly is equipped with one or several technical groove(s) while a damping coating is designed to reduce vibration and noise. The damping coating is made of rubber materials, composite materials, damping coating materials or high polymer materials. In this invention, the damping coating is added between wheel hub and brake disk or brake drum. This can not only absorb a part of noise, but also reduce braking vibration to decrease the noise.

Disc brake rotor assembly

An assembly to secure a disc brake rotor to a wheel hub utilizing spring pins and a retaining ring is provided. A partial keyway is formed in the rotor, and a partial keyway is formed in the wheel hub. The rotor is fitted over an inwardly extending section of the hub, with the partial keyways in the rotor and in the wheel hub being aligned to form complete keyways. The spring pins are then press fit into the completed keyways. Finally, a retaining ring is installed into a slot formed in the inwardly extending section of the wheel hub to complete the assembly of the disc brake rotor assembly.

The lug drive rotor assembly includes a lug brake rotor and a hub that are detachably connected together by an inner retaining ring. The lug brake rotor includes an outer friction ring and an inner carrier disk that are detachably connected together by an outer retaining ring.

DISC BRAKE ROTOR ASSEMBLY

A partial keyway is formed in the rotor, and a partial keyway is formed in the wheel hub. The rotor is fitted over an inwardly extending section of the hub, with the partial keyways in the rotor and in the wheel hub being aligned to form complete keyways. Finally, a retaining ring is installed into a slot formed in the inwardly extending section of the wheel hub to complete the assembly of the disc brake rotor assembly.
