The retractable guard assembly further comprises corresponding one or more biasing elements coupled to the one or more guards and to the housing for biasing the one or more guards towards a fully deployed state. When the one or more guards are in the fully deployed state, contact between a fixed object and a portion of the one or more guards disposed outside the housing causes the one or more guards to transition into a retracted state, and when the contact is removed, the corresponding one or more biasing elements cause the one or more guards to transition into the fully deployed state.

The ultrasound vibration on the surface of tyre (17) results in the separation of the surface of tyre (17) from the liquid (18) that may be found on tarmac (19) during the rain, which results in the fact that despite the unfavourable weather conditions the motor-car has an optimum rolling surface of tarmac. Also, the vibrations on the surface of tyre (17) in interaction with micro texture of tarmac increases the contact surface of tyre with tarmac, which results in the increase of coefficient of friction, higher grip of tyre and reduction of braking distance of motor-car. The ultrasonic grip system is activated at sudden braking, resp. activation of ABS system. Also, the system is activated on the occasion of activating the ESP and ASR system.

The invention teaches apparatus comprising, in combination: a vehicle equipped with a plurality of wheels capable of propelling the vehicle within a predetermined ferromagnetic environment to be inspected; means for remotely applying drive forces to said wheels; said wheels including a plurality of passive non-driven rollers; said passive rollers including magnetized means; means for acquiring visual images of the condition of said pipes; and means for remotely accessing said visual images; thereby enabling remote inspection of said pipes. An immediate environment in which the use of the present invention is contemplated is in inspection of ferromagnetic pipes which are located above and/or below ground.

Yet another aspect of the present disclosure is a method of using the ball wheel assembly on an article of manufacture. An intended purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a ball wheel and assembly for an article of manufacture that is designed to overcome obstacles/debris in the surrounding environment and being used on uneven surfaces via the combination of the cushioning effect of the shock absorber and the plurality of features of the ball wheel.
