MULTI-WHEEL TRANSMISSION
The present disclosure includes a transmission comprising a first wheel assembly including a first wheel, a first drive gear coupled to the first wheel such that driving the first drive gear causes a corresponding rotation of the first wheel, and a first motor coupled to the first drive gear to drive the first drive gear. The transmission also includes a second wheel assembly that includes, a second wheel, a second drive gear coupled to the second wheel such that driving the second drive gear causes a corresponding rotation of the second wheel, and a second motor coupled to the second drive gear to drive the second drive gear.
WHEELED LUGGAGE CASE
An axle-free wheel comprising: an outer rim member having a ground interface on an external surface thereof and an outer ball race or rolling race on an inner surface thereof; an inner rim member having an inner ball or rolling race on an outer surface thereof.
Foldable bicycle and method of transporting a foldable bicycle
A foldable bicycle (100) having a riding configuration and a folded configuration includes a first wheel (102) and a second wheel (104) interconnected by a frame (106). At least the first wheel (102) has an open centre (108) and includes an annular rotor (110) engageable with the ground in the riding configuration of the bicycle (100) and an annular stator (114) carrying the annular rotor (110), and the frame (106) has a pivotal connection with the stator (114) of the first wheel (102) whereby the frame (106) is pivotable relative to the first wheel (102) for folding the bicycle (100). The frame (106) and the second wheel (104) connected thereto are together so dimensioned and arranged to fit within the open centre (108) of the first wheel (102) in the folded configuration of the bicycle (100).
ELECTRIC BICYCLE
An electric powered bicycle includes front and rear wheels (102, 104) that swivel relative to a midframe (106). The midframe (106) includes a pedal driven generator-motor (108), and each wheel (102, 104) includes a motor-generator. The wheels (102, 104) may swivel to opposite sides of the midframe (106) about 180° to move into a collapsed configuration. Swivel may be on single axis joints (162, 168) with tilted swivel axes. In the collapsed configuration, the bicycle is suitable to be carried and stored and may also be utilized in a unicycle/exercycle configuration. By swiveling the wheels (102, 104) to the same side of the midframe (106) about 90°, the bicycle can be placed into other configurations including a walker, a rolling seat, and a chariot to carry packages or a person.
Axle and bearing for conveyor chain link
The invention relates to an axle and bearing for a conveyor chain link, such as those used in commercial bakery equipment. The conveyor chain link generally includes at least one roller bearing wheel with a central hole, an axle pin, and a link component with a bore. The axle pin is configured to extend through the hole in the roller bearing wheel and the bore in the link component to attach the at least one roller bearing wheel to the link component. The axle pin includes a medial portion having at least one surface engagement feature configured for anti-spin engagement with the link component. The roller bearing wheel includes at least one engagement feature for anti-spin engagement with the distal end of the axle pin.
CENTERLESS WHEEL ASSEMBLIES FOR VEHICLES
A vehicle is disclosed that may include a vertical axle, a support rod coupled to the vertical axle, and a wheel assembly coupled to the vertical axle via the support rod. The wheel assembly may include a centerless rim, a stationary hub coupled to the support rod and disposed at least partially within the centerless rim, and a roller guide supported by the stationary hub and shaped to roll along the centerless rim. The wheel assembly may be configured to rotate at least one hundred and seventy degrees relative to the vehicle.
Wheel with Drive Unit for a Vehicle , Method for Mounting a Wheel, and Sealing Device for Sealing a Bearing Device of a Wheel
The electrical drive of vehicles is not optimally achieved.
The invention relates to a wheel (10) having a drive unit for a vehicle, in particular for a motor scooter (1), a quad bike, or a passenger automobile, wherein the wheel (10) comprises the following: an inner ring (20) formed as a stator, which is connected to a wheel suspension (15) of the wheel (10); a rim ring (30) formed as a rotor having an axis of rotation (33), wherein the rim ring (30) revolves externally around the inner ring (20) and the axis of rotation (33) and the mounting axis (23) extend at least substantially parallel to one another,
wherein the wheel suspension (15) is arranged spaced apart acentrically from the axis of rotation (33).
