Wheeled transport device
According to a first aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a wheeled transport device featuring at least one castor which has a wheel and a brake system which has a contact member with one opening which is defined by an edge. The contact member is configured to be manipulated between an applied state, where the edge is in contact with the wheel, and a released state where the edge is not in contact with the wheel.
System and method to control the uncommanded movement of service carts in aircraft cabins
A system for monitoring the state of a service cart and applying corrective measures and warnings when potentially unsafe conditions exist includes sensors for monitoring the speed and inclination of the service cart. Speed and inclination data are displayed for the operator, along with any limit-based warning states. Under certain conditions, an actuator automatically activates a brake to immobilize the service cart. The system also includes a proximity sensor to identify obstacles in front of the service cart. The system defines limitations for obstacles in front of the service cart and activates the brake under certain conditions.
LOAD REACTIVE BRAKING SYSTEMS AND DEVICES
A roller assembly comprises a housing having an outer surface attached thereto, and a braking arrangement positioned at least partially within the housing. The braking arrangement is configured to increase resistance to rotation of the housing proportionally to a load applied against the outer surface.
Moving mechanism, mobile carrier, and luggage
A moving mechanism configured to be assembled to an object to adjust a movement of the object is provided. The moving mechanism includes a bracket, a first wheel, a brake module, a control module, and a sensing module. The bracket is assembled to the object. The first wheel and the brake module are assembled to the bracket. The control module communicates with and drives the brake module. The sensing module communicates with the brake module, and the sensing module is configured to sense an orientation of the object. The control module adjusts a brake force of the brake module on the first wheel based on the orientation of the object.
ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
Provided is an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus including a plurality of casters allowing the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus to be moved according to a control signal, a detection sensor configured to detect a motion of the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus, an input configured to receive a control command of the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus from a user, and a controller configured to determine whether a user desires to use the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus on the basis of at least one of the detected motion or the received control command, and upon determining that the user desires to use the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus, transmit a control signal for locking at least one of the plurality of casters.
CONVERTIBLE PERSONAL MULTIMEDIA POD
The present disclosure provides personal multimedia pods that convert from an enclosable premium theater system with seating for one or more users to an unenclosed chair and/or to an output audio/video device capable of connecting (e.g., wirelessly connecting) to other audio/visual equipment.
Shopping cart security system
The shopping cart security system is configured for use with a hand propelled vehicle known as a shopping cart. The shopping cart security system is a wheeled structure that allows the hand propelled vehicle to roll over a supporting surface. The shopping cart security system: a) determines the GPS coordinates of the shopping cart security system; b) compares the GPS coordinates of the shopping cart security system with a previously determined set of GPS coordinates that determine an operating perimeter for the shopping cart security system; and, c) disables the rotation of the wheeled structure that forms the shopping cart security system when the shopping cart security system is determined to be outside of the region bounded by the previously determined operating perimeter.
ANTI-ROLLING WHEEL
An anti-rolling wheel includes: a ring-shaped main wheel; an inner frame positioned inside the main wheel, wherein the inner frame comprising at least two auxiliary wheels that come into contact with an inner surface of the main wheel and rotate when the main wheel is driven; and a sliding block provided to be movable under the guide of the inner frame.
Adapter for a rolling assembly and rolling assembly comprising same
A flexible adapter (1) for a rolling assembly, said rolling assembly comprising a tyre (2) having two beads (21), a rim (3) and two adapters (1) each intended to ensure the joint between one of the beads (21) and the rim (3), said rim (3) having two rim seats (31) each extended axially outwards by a rim flange (32), the rim seat having a diameter D3, the adapter comprising an axially outer end (11) and a body (12) oriented substantially axially and disposed between said axially outer end (11) and said axially inner end (10), said body (12) having a radially outer face (121) and a radially inner face (122), having the intersection between the shoulder (111) of the axially outer end (11) of the adapter (1) and the substantially tapered face of said adapter seat (13) forming a circle of diameter D1, said adapter seat (13) having a substantially tapered face of angle α, in which the difference “d” between the diameters D1 and D3, d=D1−D3, lies between 25.9 mm and 30.4 mm and the angle α is greater than 0.5°.
