Adjustable axle assembly for a vehicle
An axle assembly for a vehicle. A movable housing is movably positioned within a closed channel defined by a central housing. The movable housing moves the axle assembly between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration. A mounting assembly may be coupled to and spaced from the movable housing and slidably positioned adjacent the central housing. A steering actuator is coupled to a steering arm and the mounting assembly such that the steering actuator moves as a unit. A track assist bracket may be fixedly coupled to the central housing and define a gap sized to slidably receive a mounting plate of the mounting assembly. A bushing may be disposed on each wall of a telescoping portion of the movable housing. A bellows may be provided to enclose exposed portions of the bushings in the extended configuration. Methods of adjusting the track of the axle assembly are also disclosed.
Hub for an at least partially muscle-powered bicycle
A hub for a bicycle includes a hub shell and an axle device. The hub shell is supported rotatably relative to the axle device by way of bearing devices. A bearing device is configured as a roller bearing, and includes two bearing rings with rolling members disposed between, and is sealed axially outwardly. Between the bearing rings, the roller bearing includes a modular unit, at which a sealing unit is configured for laterally sealing the roller bearing, and including guide units protruding laterally inwardly from the modular unit for guiding the rolling members.
WORK VEHICLE AXLE DEVICE
Work vehicle axle device includes a wheel drive case utilizing a centrally disposed vertically extending first coupling portion, a centrally disposed vertically extending second coupling portion spaced from the first coupling portion and an input shaft located below an upper end of either the first or second coupling portions and being configured to transmit rotational power to wheels. The first and second coupling portions are configured to pivotally mount to the wheel drive case to a vehicle body of the work vehicle in a manner that allows the wheel drive case to pivot about an axis that, when viewed from above, is at least one of parallel to a front to back direction of the vehicle body and parallel to a centrally disposed front to back axis of the vehicle body.
Axle assembly
An axle assembly is provided for a working machine. The axle assembly includes an axle having first and second ends, the first end having a first wheel mount for pivotably mounting a first wheel to the axle and the second end having a second wheel mount for pivotably mounting a second wheel to the axle. The assembly has a steering arrangement for pivoting the first and second wheel mounts relative to the axle, the steering arrangement having a linkage connected to the first and second wheel mounts and configured to pivot the first and second wheel mounts relative to the axle. The steering arrangement also includes an actuator configured to actuate the steering linkage in order to effect pivoting of the first and second wheel mounts, and the actuator is directly connected to the steering linkage.
Dead axle of rail vehicle, rail vehicle, and rail transportation system
A dead axle of a rail vehicle, a rail vehicle, and a rail transportation system are provided. The dead axle of a rail vehicle includes: an axle body; a running wheel; a guiding frame; a horizontal wheel; and a connecting rod component, including a first transverse pull rod and a second transverse pull rod, where when the rail vehicle turns left, the horizontal wheel cooperates with a rail beam to drive the guiding frame to swing and drive the first transverse pull rod to move together, and the second transverse pull rod is driven by the first transverse pull rod to drive the running wheel to swing to the left, and when the rail vehicle turns right, the horizontal wheel cooperates with the rail beam to drive the guiding frame to swing and drive the first transverse pull rod to move together, and the second transverse pull rod is driven by the first transverse pull rod to drive the running wheel to swing to the right.
Steer axle high-temperature warning system
A high temperature warning system for a vehicle steer axle an air pressure supply, a normally-closed valve in fluid communication with pressure supply, a heat sensitive control capable of opening the normally-closed valve upon a predetermined temperature, the heat sensitive control mounted adjacent to the wheel end assembly in a heat exchange relationship therewith, and a warning system connected to the air pressure supply for actuation upon opening of the normally-closed valve.
Fabricated vehicle axle
A vehicle axle body is provided for incorporation into a vehicle axle. The vehicle axle body may be comprised of first and second axle body pieces. The first axle body piece may define at least a portion of a lower surface of the vehicle axle body and at least a portion of one of a front surface and a rear surface of the vehicle axle body. The second axle body piece is secured to the first axle body piece and may define at least a portion of an upper surface of the vehicle axle body and at least a portion of the other one of the front surface and the rear surface of the vehicle axle body. The thickness of the first and second axle body pieces may be different. Suspension component supports may be integrally formed with the upper and/or bottom surfaces of the axle body.
Support casing for a differential gear of an axle and track rod assembly
A driving and steering axle of an off-highway vehicle includes an attached track rod assembly incorporating an actuator housed in spaced apart annular mountings of an axle drive head casing. One mounting includes a slot to permit through passage of one end of the assembly with a pre-attached track rod end.
APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING AN AIR DISC BRAKE ACTUATOR
An air disc brake system for a heavy-duty vehicle comprising an axle. A spindle is attached to an end portion of the axle. At least a portion of an air disc brake assembly is supported by the spindle. A suspension beam has an axle support portion connectable with the axle. An end portion of the suspension beam is spaced from the axle support portion for attachment with the heavy-duty vehicle. The suspension beam may pivot about the end portion of the suspension beam. An actuator actuates the air disc brake assembly. The actuator has a movable member to actuate the air disc brake assembly. Structure is associated with the suspension beam for supporting at least a portion of the actuator. A surface defines an opening in the suspension beam through which the movable member may extend or that may receive and support a portion of the actuator.
Front axle assembly and vehicle with the same
The present disclosure provides an integral front axle assembly which includes an axle housing configured for connecting with a driveshaft; two axle tubes respectively connected with two opposite sides of the axle housing; two inner-C-forgings disposed at ends of the axle tubes and each being configured for connecting with a kingpin knuckle; and at least one connection structure, for detachably fixing at least one of the inner-C-forgings to a corresponding axle tube. The inner-C-forging has different mounting positions on the axle tube, correspondingly, the caster to pinion angle is different at inner-C-forging's different mounting positions. The caster angles on both sides and the pinion to driveshaft angle can be conveniently and independently adjusted while ensuring the support strength.
