Wheelchair having an adjustable base
A wheelchair comprises a base assembly and a tilt assembly supported on the base assembly. The base assembly has a wheelbase and a wheel track. Each of the wheelbase and wheel track is independently adjustable. The tilt assembly is unchanged when either the wheelbase or wheel track is adjusted.
FOLDABLE VEHICLE, SYSTEM AND ADJUSTMENT ASSEMBLY THEREOF FOR ADJUSTING WIDTH OF A VEHICLE
Some embodiments are directed to an adjustment assembly for changing width of a vehicle including at least one pair of wheels, where the adjustment assembly is embedded in the vehicle and is connectable to a pair of front, middle or rear wheels thereof. The adjustment assembly includes, inter alia: a foldable unit connectable to the pair of wheels of the vehicle, configured for changing its overall length over a predefined axis “Y” connecting the centers of the pair of wheels, for adjusting a distance between the pair of wheels it connects to; and a tilting unit operatively associated with the pair of wheels of the vehicle to which the foldable unit connects. The tilting unit is configured for changing angular positioning of the pair of wheels in respect to the “Y” axis, during driving of the vehicle when folded or unfolded.
Agricultural harvester axle
An agricultural harvester includes a chassis, an axle assembly carrying the chassis, a plurality of hub assemblies including a first hub assembly and a second hub assembly, the hub assemblies coupled to a corresponding end of the axle assembly, and a plurality of ground engaging devices each being coupled to a corresponding hub assemblies. The ground engaging devices support the axle assembly and the chassis. The axle assembly includes an extendable/retractable axle for altering a distance between the ground engaging devices that are coupled to the hub assemblies, and a connecting rod extending/retracting from a central portion of the axle assembly, the connecting rod also coupled to a portion of the first hub assembly. The connecting rod is generally vertically displaced from the extendable/retractable axle.
Chassis and Use Thereof
The invention relates to a chassis comprising a base (12) and four wheels (14) each being mounted on the base by way of a respective supporting device (16) and each being capable of being brought out of a transport position into an operating position of the chassis (10), and vice versa, wherein each supporting device comprises a support or carrier arm (18), which is arranged on the base via a proximal end (20) to be pivotable out of the transport position into the operating position of the chassis, and vice versa, and at a distal end (22) receives an axle journal (24) for rotation, a first control (30) for pivoting the support or carrier arm out of the transport position into the operating position of the chassis, and vice versa, the axle journal rotatably arranged at the distal end of the support or carrier arm, a stub axle (40), which is pivotably arranged on the axle journal and receives the wheel for rotation at a distal end (42) of the axle journal; and a second control (44) for pivoting the stub axle against the axle journal.
The adjustment assembly includes, inter alia: a foldable unit connectable to the pair of wheels of the vehicle, configured for changing its overall length over a predefined axis Y connecting the centers of the pair of wheels, for adjusting a distance between the pair of wheels it connects to; and a tilting unit operatively associated with the pair of wheels of the vehicle to which the foldable unit connects. The tilting unit is configured for changing angular positioning of the pair of wheels in respect to the Y axis, during driving of the vehicle when folded or unfolded.
Working Machine
A working machine comprising a chassis; first and second elongate support members, each elongate support member being pivotally coupled to the chassis at a respective pivot point; a first wheel assembly coupled to the first elongate support member and a second wheel assembly coupled to the second elongate support member; a first linear actuator coupled to the first elongate support member and a second linear actuator coupled to the second elongate support member, wherein the elongate support members are movable by operation of the actuators between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration. A distance between the first and second wheel assemblies is greater in the deployed configuration than in the stowed configuration. The first and second linear actuators are pivotally coupled to the chassis along a common pivot axis.
Width-adjustable heavy-goods vehicle
A heavy goods vehicle (10) having a vehicle frame (12) and at least one driving axis (A), which has on either longitudinal side (10a) of the vehicle (10) a bogie (22) comprising a wheel assembly (14), each wheel assembly (14) comprising at least two wheels arranged symmetrically in relation to a central axis (S), and a wheel suspension (18) by means of which said wheel assembly is fastened to a rotary plate (28) of the bogie (22), this rotary plate (28) being mounted on a rotary bearing (24) of the bogie (22) which is engaged with the vehicle frame (12) so as to be rotatable about a steering swivel axis (X). According to the invention, the rotary bearing (24) of the bogie (22) can be adjusted in the width direction (B) of the vehicle relative to the vehicle frame (12) and can be detachably connected to the vehicle frame (12) in an operationally stable manner.
WIDTH-ADJUSTABLE HEAVY-GOODS VEHICLE
