Wheel cover assembly with installable wheel rib and wheel cover
A wheel cover assembly for a vehicle wheel may include a wheel rib that is attachable to a rim inner surface of a wheel rim of the vehicle wheel, a cover body having a cover body outer surface, a cover body inner surface, and a cover body outer edge having an outer diameter that is greater than an inner diameter of the wheel rib and less than an inner diameter of an open end flange of the wheel rim. A cover mounting mechanism operatively connected to the cover body has a cover locking position wherein the cover mounting mechanism engages the wheel rib to retain the wheel rib between the cover mounting mechanism and the cover body and secure the wheel cover assembly to the vehicle wheel when the wheel rib is attached to the rim inner surface.
AERODYNAMIC COVER FOR A VEHICLE WHEEL, ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR THE AERODYNAMIC COVER TO THE VEHICLE WHEEL, AND VEHICLE WHEEL HAVING SUCH AN AERODYNAMIC COVER AND ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
A vehicle wheel comprises a wheel disc, wheel rim, and wheel axis. A first cover spans between the rim and a hub portion of the disc. An axial portion of the first cover extends substantially along the axis. A plurality of first vents in the axial portion are arrayed circumferentially about the axis. Tabs extend perpendicular to the axial portion at each of the first vents. A second cover is secured to the rim and extends radially inward from the rim in a direction perpendicular to the axis. A plurality of second vents are in the second cover and arrayed circumferentially about the axis. The first and second covers are on opposite sides of the wheel. Each of the first and second covers has a greater extent in a radial direction perpendicular to the axis than in an axial direction parallel to the axis.

Wheel of a vehicle
A wheel of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, has a rim, a hub portion, and at least two spokes connecting the hub portion to the rim. At least two adjoining spokes are connected to each other by at least one connecting web which is arranged in a space between the spokes, is not attached to the rim and the hub portion, and extends at least approximately in the circumferential direction of the wheel.

Wheel cover assembly
The present disclosure relates to a wheel cover assembly for a wheel assembly of a vehicle. The wheel cover assembly can include a bracket configured to be mounted onto the wheel assembly, an outer ring configured to be coupled with the bracket, and an inner cover removably couplable with the outer ring. The inner cover can comprise at least one attachment mechanism having a spring element, a catch and a handle, where the spring element can bias the catch to engage with the bracket or the outer ring to removably secure the inner cover to the outer ring.
Wheel with interchangeable caps
Systems, apparatus, devices, brackets, assemblies, and methods for a wheel hub with interchangeable caps for changing the appearance of wheels having exposed lug nuts about a center hole. A bracket invention having both a small cap and a large cap can be used on an existing wheel which exposes a center hole and the lug nuts. A smaller cap can be used to cover only the center hole of the wheel. A larger cap can be used to cover both the center hole and the exposed lug nuts on the wheel. An adapter ring can be used for OEM (original equipment manufacturer) wheels to allow for using the base that allows for either a small cap or large cap to be interchangeably used to change the exterior appearance of the wheel. The bracket can be integrated with the wheel, or be attachable onto the wheel. The caps can be mounted and dismounted by pressing and rotating spring biased emblems with either ball bearings or studs from the bases.
Insert Element For A Vehicle Wheel And Vehicle Wheel With At Least One Such Insert Element
An insert element for a vehicle wheel comprises several supporting bodies for supporting the insert element on supporting surfaces of the vehicle wheel. The supporting bodies have a supporting shoulder, which can be brought to bear against a supporting surface of the vehicle wheel, and a fastening extension with an axial hollow channel and with at least one outwardly protruding locking projection, arranged at an axial distance from the supporting shoulder, for engaging behind an installation opening reaching through the supporting surface of the vehicle wheel. The supporting bodies are designed as elastomer components which are elastically deformable in the radial and axial direction and sit with their hollow channel on a supporting core. The supporting cores bear a radially protruding retaining flange and are held on the rear side on the insert element.
Each supporting body is held by the retaining flange in a form-fitting manner against being pulled off from the supporting core.
COVER ASSEMBLY FOR WHEEL HUB
A cover assembly for removably covering a hub of a wheel rim includes a ring-shaped outer cover defining a cover central hole, and a connector having a connector outer annular wall, a connector inner annular wall extending through the cover central hole for connection with a hub inner peripheral wall of the hub and provided with a first external thread for threadedly connecting with a first internal thread of the hub, and an annular flange extending from a junction of the connector inner and outer annular walls. A first elastic ring is sleeved on the connector inner annular wall and is configured to be disposed between and abut against the connector inner annular wall and the hub inner peripheral wall.
