Tire integrated with electronic device and manufacturing method thereof
A tire integrated with an electronic device includes the electronic device attached to an inner liner or a side wall of the tire by vulcanization. The electronic device is attached to an inner side or an outer side of an end of a bead filler depending on a length of the bead filler not to reduce durability of the tire.
TIRE
A tire can include a tread, sidewalls, beads, and a carcass. Each bead can include a core and an apex. A ratio of a height of the apex to a cross-sectional height of the tire may be not less than 5% and not greater than 15%. In a meridian cross-section of the tire in a standard state, a contour of a side surface including a maximum width position can include two arcs tangent to each other at the maximum width position. The arc located inward of the maximum width position in a radial direction can be a first arc, and the arc located outward of the maximum width position in the radial direction can be a second arc. A ratio of a first radius of the first arc to a second radius of the second arc may be not less than 70% and not greater than 91%.
TIRE
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire including a tread, sidewalls and a first bead and a second bead, which beads are spaced apart, the first bead and the second bead including: a drop shaped bead core , the drop shaped bead core having a cross sectional area including or consisting of a circular portion and a tapering portion, and an apex positioned adjacent and/or against the bead core, the method including: connecting the apex to the drop shaped bead core, thereby obtaining an assembly including the drop shaped bead core and the apex, pre-forming a tire including the assembly, and vulcanizing the pre-formed tire, thereby obtaining the pneumatic tire. Also disclosed is a pneumatic tire.
MOTORCYCLE TIRE
A motorcycle tire having excellent handling stability and durability, includes a carcass as a skeleton composed of at least one carcass ply extending toroidally between a pair of bead portions and folded and engaged around a pair of bead cores embedded in each of the pair of bead portions and a belt composed of at least one belt layer arranged on the outer side of the carcass in the tire radial direction. A flipper is arranged between the carcass and a bead core, which wraps the bead core from the inside in the tire radial direction, and the outer side end portion of the flipper in the tire width direction extends to the inside in the tire width direction from the end portion of the belt in the tire width direction.
TIRE-WHEEL ASSEMBLY, TIRE, AND WIRELESS POWER RECEIVING SYSTEM
A tire-wheel assembly includes: a wheel having a rim portion at least part of which is formed of a non-magnetic material; and a tire mounted on the rim portion, in which a tread portion includes a belt formed of a non-magnetic material. The wheel includes, inside the rim portion in a tire radial direction, a container portion that contains a power receiving device that receives electric power supplied wirelessly from outside of the tire in the tire radial direction. The tire includes bead fillers. When BFH represents a radial height of the bead fillers and SH represents a tire cross-sectional heigh, 0.1≤BFH/SH≤0.5 holds true.
Pneumatic tire
In a tire 2, a length from a center in an axial direction of a boundary between a core 30 and an apex 32 of each bead 10 to an outer end PA of the apex 32 is not less than 10 mm and not greater than 15 mm. In a state where the tire 2 is mounted on a normal rim and an internal pressure of the tire 2 is adjusted to a normal internal pressure, a shape of a main body portion 36, of a carcass ply 34, which is located in a zone from a boundary portion between a tread 4 and each sidewall 6 to the outer end PA of each apex 32 is represented by a single circular arc, and a diameter of the circular arc is not less than 75% and not greater than 90% of a cross-sectional height of a carcass 14.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire a includes: a pair of beads having a bead core and a bead filler extending from the bead core to an outer side in a tire-radial direction; a pair of sidewalls extending from each of the pair of beads to an outer side in the tire-radial direction; a tread disposed between the pair of sidewalls; a carcass ply bridged between the pair of beads; an internal side reinforcement layer disposed at an inner side in a tire-width direction of the bead filler; and an external side reinforcement layer disposed at an outer side in the tire-width direction of the bead filler, in which the internal side reinforcement layer is disposed more to an inner side in the tire-radial direction than a tire-radial direction outer end of the bead filler, and the external side reinforcement layer has an outside extending part which extends from the bead filler.
TIRE WITH BEAD REGIONS HAVING MULTIPLE BEAD FILLERS
A tire includes a bead portion with a bead core having a main bead filler and an auxiliary bead filler, and a carcass ply wrapped around a portion of the main bead filler. An end of the carcass ply is located axially outside the main bead filler and radially below an apex of the main bead filler. The auxiliary bead filler is located axially outside the carcass ply end, with an apex of the auxiliary bead filler being located above an apex of the main bead filler.
PNEUMATIC TYRE EQUIPPED WITH A TRANSPONDER
Pneumatic tyre having a toroidal carcass, which has a body ply that is partially folded onto itself and therefore having two lateral flaps; two annular beads, each of which is surrounded by the body ply and has a bead core and a bead filler; an annular tread; a pair of sidewalls; a pair of abrasion gum strips; an innerliner which is impermeable to air and is arranged within the body ply; and a transponder which is arranged between the body ply and the innerliner at a flap of the body ply and is arranged at a distance of less than 7 mm from an edge of the body ply.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire, wherein, in a state of being mounted on a rim, defining the rim diameter as D, the length from the rim position representing the rim diameter D to the maximum tire radial height as SH, the rim flange height as G, the rim flange radius as R.sub.2, and the bead filler height H.sub.bf as the tire radial height with respect to the rim position representing the rim diameter D, the bead filler height H.sub.bf is less than or equal to a value obtained by the following formula: {SH−(G−R.sub.2)}/4+(G−R.sub.2). The cord is provided in at least one part from a bead portion to a sidewall portion 3 at an angle of 0 to 10° to the circumferential direction.
