Run-flat tire
A run-flat tire includes a carcass including at least one carcass ply, a belt layer, a pair of side reinforcing rubber layers, a pair of bead apex rubber components. A height of the one bead apex rubber component is greater than a height of the other bead apex rubber component. An inner end height of the one side reinforcing rubber layer is greater than an inner end height of the other side reinforcing rubber layer. In a radial region of the tire where at least the bead apex rubber components and the side reinforcing rubber layers are provided, the tire has a same thickness in the respective sides of the bead portions.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass formed of a carcass ply extending between a pair of bead portions in a toroidal shape, and a bead core disposed in a respective one of the bead portions, the bead core comprising an axially inner core and an axially outer core respectively disposed on an axially inner side and the axially outer side of the carcass ply. The bead portion comprises an inner bead apex rubber extending radially outward from the inner core, and an outer bead apex rubber extending radially outward from the outer core. An outer apex height Ho from a bead base line to a outer end of the outer bead apex rubber is in a range of from 120% to 150% of an inner apex height Hi from the bead base line to the outer end of the inner bead apex rubber.
TIRE
This tire is provided with reinforcing cord layers that reinforce a bead part. The reinforcing cord layers are such that at the bead part at the inner side of vehicle mounting, the number of layers of the reinforcing cord layers with respect to a bead filler is greater at the inner side in the direction of tire width compared to the outer side in the direction of tire width with respect to the bead filler, and at the bead part at the outer side of vehicle mounting, the number of layers of the reinforcing cord layers with respect to the bead filler is greater at the outer side in the direction of tire width compared to the inner side in the direction of tire width with respect to the bead filler.
PNEUMATIC RADIAL TIRE FOR PASSENGER VEHICLE
Provided is a pneumatic radial tire for passenger vehicles in which the cross-sectional width SW of the tire and the outer diameter OD of the tire satisfy a predetermined relationship, and a layer is provided only in one tire width-direction half, that is arranged on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the belt and covers at least an end of the belt.
Pneumatic tire with optimized crown and bead architectures
A tire comprises, in the central part of its crown, at least one undulation (51) of the radially outermost crown layer, having a radial amplitude A at least equal to 1 mm. At least one bead comprises, aside from the radial carcass layer and the bead wire, a radial reinforcing element that is such that the axial distance between the radial reinforcing element and the axially innermost carcass layer is at least equal to 1 mm and at most equal to 12 mm at the point of the radial reinforcing element that is situated 30 mm from the radially innermost point of the bead wire, for a better trade-off between the stiffness of the undulating crown and of the bead.
