SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING WHEEL ASSEMBLIES
20230001749 · 2023-01-05 ·

A wheel assembly of a vehicle (e.g., a forklift or another material-handling vehicle) is monitored to obtain information regarding the vehicle, including information regarding the wheel assembly, which may be indicative of how the vehicle including the wheel assembly is used (e.g., a duty cycle of the vehicle and/or the wheel assembly), a state (e.g., a degree of wear) of the wheel assembly, loading and shocks on the wheel assembly, and/or a state of an environment (e.g., environmental temperature, a profile, compliance, or other condition of an underlying surface beneath the wheel assembly), and which may be, for example, conveyed to a user (e.g., an operator of the vehicle), transmitted to a remote party (e.g., a provider), and/or used to control the vehicle (e.g., a speed of the vehicle). This may improve use, maintenance, safety and/or other aspects of the vehicle, including the wheel assembly.

PREDICTING TIRE PRESSURE OF A TIRE OF AN AIRCRAFT
20230226859 · 2023-07-20 ·

A computer-implemented method of predicting tire pressure of a tire of an aircraft, the method including obtaining first data indicative of an inflation pressure of the tire, obtaining second data indicative of a brake temperature of a brake associated with an aircraft wheel to which the tire is mounted, obtaining third data indicative of a gas temperature of the tire, and obtaining fourth data indicative of one or more predicted operational conditions of the aircraft during a future time period. The method includes determining, based at least in part on the first, second, third and fourth data, predicted tire pressure characteristics of the tire during the future time period.

ANTI-OZONANT COMPOSITION FOR A CROSSLINKED RUBBER ARTICLE

An anti-ozone protective composition for a crosslinked rubber article; is based on at least one chlorinated elastomer, at least one hydrocarbon solvent and at least one polar aprotic solvent. A rubber article comprises at least one elastomeric surface in contact with air, said surface being completely or partly coated with said composition.

BEAD STRUCTURE FOR A TIRE
20220410637 · 2022-12-29 ·

A tire includes a carcass ply extending from one bead structure to another bead structure. Each bead structure includes a plurality of circumferentially wound sheath layers surrounding a bead core with a triangular cross-section. The cross-section has two radially inner vertices and a radially outer vertex. The radially outer vertex and one of the radially inner vertices are an angular amount radially offset from a directly radial direction of the tire.

Wear amount estimation method, wear amount estimation device, and wear amount estimation program

A wear amount estimation device estimates plural kinds of wear energy depending on each of an internal pressure of aircraft tires, a load acting on the aircraft tires, a velocity of an aircraft, a slip angle caused in the aircraft tires, and a braking force of the aircraft, in accordance with each of these elements and wear energy EFR of the aircraft tires in a state of a free rolling run The wear amount estimation device estimates the wear amount wear of the aircraft tires in accordance with each of the calculated wear energy and a wear resistance R indicating a relationship between predetermined wear energy and a predetermined wear amount.

AIRCRAFT TIRE
