ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE FOR A TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM
An inflation electronic control module for a tire inflation system is described. The inflation electronic control module may be configured to initiate a warning that indicates a problem with a vehicle tire based on tire inflation fill events and collected fill event data. Automatic tire inflation and data recording systems including an inflation electronic control module are further described. The control module may include an electronic control board configured for recording a log of fill event data for tire inflation fill events, the electronic control board being configured for wireless transmission of fill event data to a remote computer.
Tire pressure monitoring system for tractor-trailer
A tire pressure monitoring system and tire pressure detector setting apparatus for tractor-trailer are disclosed. The tractor-trailer has a tractor and a trailer having a plurality of wheels, respectively. The tire pressure monitoring system includes a plurality of tire pressure detectors and a monitoring device. The tire pressure detectors are disposed on each of the wheels, detecting the tire pressure status of each wheel and generating a tire pressure information. Each tire pressure detector has a wheel code corresponding to one of the wheels, respectively. The monitoring device is disposed on the tractor for receiving the tire pressure information and the wheel codes of the corresponding tire pressure detector. When the tire pressure information and the wheel code are transmitted to the monitoring device, the monitoring device accurately monitors the tire pressure status of each wheel.
SMALL TRAILER TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM
A tire inflation system for a small trailer may include a fluid pressure source mountable to the trailer, and fluid conduits providing sealed fluid communication between the fluid pressure source and the small trailer's pneumatic tires. The system may further include a fluid connector configured for connection to an external fluid power source.
Electronic control module for a tire inflation system
An inflation electronic control module for a tire inflation system comprising a solenoid valve disposed so as to selectively open or close fluid communication between a fluid pressure source and a vehicle tire in response to one or more pressure signals. The tire inflation system further comprising a fluid pressure sensor disposed so as to detect delivery-side fluid pressure between the solenoid valve and the vehicle tire, and provide a pressure signal corresponding to the detected fluid pressure.
Monitoring Towable Asset Movement with TPMS
A TPMS sensor for towable asset is configured to not only report a tire pressure but also whether the tire has moved. A telematics transceiver may then maintain a GNSS receiver in a sleep mode of operation (e.g., powered down) while the TPMS sensor does not report any motion.
Dynamic chassis and tire status indications
Systems, methods, and computer readable storage media provide dynamic chassis and tire status indications associated with a vehicle. Lift axle status data may be graphically represented by a lift axle indicator dynamically provided in a shared notification/messaging space positioned within the driver's line of sight during a lift axle transition. The lift axle indicator may include a side-view representation of the vehicle including a plurality of axle sections indicating the status of each axle. The lift axle indicator may be suppressed when air pressure is stabilized. Additionally, a graphical representation of data associated with statuses (e.g., air pressure, temperature) of each tire may be provided in a top-down view representation of the vehicle including its associated tire/axle configuration and the tire pressure for each tire. The graphical representation may be configured to reflect the correct number of axles and tires per position, and may further include a tractor versus trailer designation.
Inflation manifold
An inflation manifold connected to dual pneumatic tires by air hoses provides a central location for tire inflation and location of pressure sensors. A hose block connected to dual pneumatic tires by air hoses provides a central location for location of pressure sensors. The pressure sensors may be TPMS sensors or a combination of TPMS sensor and pressure gauge.
COMMUNICATION METHOD BETWEEN A PLURALITY OF ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENT MODULES OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Disclosed is a method for communicating measurement messages between a plurality of electronic measurement modules and an electronic control unit of a motor vehicle. The method includes the steps of measurement (E1), by a primary emitter module, of parameter values associated with the wheel in which the module is mounted, of sending (E2), by the primary emitter module, of measurement messages to a relay module, of reception (E3) by the relay module, of the measurement messages sent, of measurement (E5), by the relay module, of parameter values associated with the wheel in which the relay module is mounted and of sending (E6), by the relay module, of the measurement messages received and of its own measurements to the electronic control unit.
VEHICLE OPERATIONAL DIAGNOSTICS, CONDITION RESPONSE, VEHICLE PAIRING, AND BLIND SPOT DETECTION SYSTEM
A vehicle operational diagnostics and condition response system includes at least an axle supporting a vehicle frame, a suspension disposed between and secured to each the vehicle frame and the axle, a load detection device interacting with the suspension and communicating with a system controller, wherein the system controller is supported by the vehicle frame, and a vehicle pairing circuit, the vehicle pairing circuit interacting with the system controller. The vehicle pairing circuit activated by the system controller in response to load detection data received by the system controller from the load detection device.
