CONFIRMATION OF TYRE MONITORING DEVICE STATUS
A method, apparatus and system are disclosed in which an indication given by at least one tyre monitoring device is confirmed by input received from another source is disclosed. The method includes causing, by the control device, at least one tyre monitoring device mounted on a wheel to measure a tyre pressure and to indicate a status using an indicator provided on the tyre monitoring device; receiving, from the at least one tyre monitoring device, data representative of the status of the at least one tyre monitoring device; receiving input representative of the status indicated on the indicator of the at least one tyre monitoring device; comparing the received data representative of the status with the received input representative of the status; and taking action based on the result of the comparing.
VEHICLE WHEEL ILLUMINATION ASSEMBLY USING PHOTOLUMINESCENT MATERIAL
A vehicle wheel illumination assembly includes a light source located on the body of a vehicle near the wheel well and oriented to direct light onto a wheel assembly having a tire. A tire pressure indicator detects tire pressure of the tire. The light source illuminates the wheel assembly with a desired color to indicate a tire pressure status based on the detected tire pressure. A photoluminescent material is located on the wheel assembly and configured to luminesce in response to excitation by the light assembly.
Tire pressure monitoring system, tire pressure monitoring method, tire pressure monitoring program, and vehicle
A tire pressure monitoring system (30) includes a data acquisition portion (101) that acquires data indicating a tire pressure and a tire temperature of the tire, from a sensor (50FL), a sensor (50FR), a sensor (50RL), and a sensor (50RR) mounted to the tire; a puncture determination portion (103) that determines whether the tire is punctured, based on a puncture determination threshold defined by a relationship between the tire pressure and the tire temperature; and a warning processing portion (105) that generates a warning indicating that the tire is punctured apart from a warning of a drop of the tire pressure when the puncture determination portion (103) determines that the tire is punctured.
Tire pressure warning device
A tire air pressure warning device includes a tire air pressure sensor and at least one controller that warns a driver that a tire air pressure detected by the tire air pressure sensor has dropped to or below a first prescribed pressure. The at least one controller further notifies the driver is reduction in the tire air pressure upon determining that the tire air pressure has dropped to or below a second prescribed pressure, which is above the first prescribed pressure. The at least one controller further determines whether the tire air pressure has dropped to or below the second prescribed pressure based on when the tire air pressure is at or below the second prescribed pressure in an ignition switch on state, and whether the tire air pressure has dropped to or below the second prescribed pressure when the ignition switch is turned off.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING DEVICES
A method of performing a configuration procedure for first and second tire pressure monitoring devices. The method includes loading the first tire pressure monitoring device with first configuration data, and subsequently transmitting, from the first tire pressure monitoring device, a first configuration data signal which encodes the first configuration data. The method includes subsequently loading the second tire pressure monitoring device with second configuration data, and subsequently ending the configuration procedure without transmitting a second configuration data signal which encodes the second configuration data.
Tire pressure indicating device
An inflation viewing device has a main body which is externally provided with a transparent viewing portion and internally provided with an inner passage where an air path assembly is arranged. An air entrance connector is operatively connected to an external air source and to a first end of the main body. An air exit connector is connected to a second, opposed end of the main body and to an inflation valve. A guide spacer is provided between the air entrance connector and the main body. The guide spacer has an inner passage having a wider section in communication with the inner passage of the main body and a reduced section defining a communication opening with the air entrance connector. A filter is arranged in the communication opening. A plunger, biased by a spring, is slidably arranged within the inner passage of the guide spacer and guide section of the main body inner passage.
DETERMINING A STATUS OF A TYRE MONITORING DEVICE
A method of determining a status of a tyre monitoring device is disclosed. The tyre monitoring device includes a counter initiated on a first use of the tyre monitoring device on a wheel and the method includes: determining a current value of the counter; determining a status of the tyre monitoring device based on the current value of the counter; and providing an indication based on the determined status. In some examples, the status is a remaining service lifetime and the indication may be a replacement notification. A method of cross-checking data between tyre monitoring devices is also disclosed. The method includes receiving data from a plurality of tyre monitoring devices associated with respective tyres of a same vehicle; comparing the received data from different ones of the plurality of tyre monitoring devices; determining inconsistent data associated with at least one of the plurality of tyre monitoring devices based on the comparison; and providing an indication of the inconsistent data.
METHOD, DEVICE AND APPARATUS FOR DYNAMICALLY MONITORING WORKING STATE OF VEHICLE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method, device and apparatus for dynamically monitoring the working state of a vehicle, and a storage medium are disclosed. The method includes: waking up a monitoring unit according to a vehicle starting signal, acquiring the load of the vehicle, the tire pressure of a wheel and the temperature of a wheel hub through the monitoring unit, and determining the working state of the vehicle according to the load of the vehicle, the tire pressure of the wheel and the temperature of the wheel hub.
