The machine (M) comprises a main arm (400) and a working unit (500) connected to the main arm (400) and including a first arm (501a) pivoted to the main arm (400) at a hinge point (F) and a first sidewall pressing tool (502a) which is configured to come into abutment against a sidewall of the tyre (P) of the wheel (R) mounted on the wheel-holder unit (200) and which is connected to the first arm (501a). The main arm (400) is movable by translation parallel to the horizontal axis of translation (X) towards and away from a column (101) to keep the hinge point (F) vertically aligned with the vertical axis of rotation (Y) of the wheel-holder unit (200), responsive to a movement in translation of the wheel-holder unit (200).
MACHINE FOR MOUNTING AND DEMOUNTING A TYRE RELATIVE TO A CORRESPONDING RIM AND WHEEL SERVICING METHOD
A machine (M) for mounting and demounting a tyre (P) relative to a corresponding rim (C) of a vehicle wheel (R) comprises a column (100) including a slideway (101) to which there is slidably coupled a tool holder carriage (300) that includes a first arm (401) with a demounting tool and a mounting tool (402, 403) connected to it. The first arm (401) runs along a first, horizontal sliding axis (X1). The tool holder carriage (300) also comprises a second arm, provided with a bead seater tool (502) and slidable along a second, horizontal sliding axis (X2) that is spaced from the first sliding axis (X1), and a third arm (601) with a bead breaker disc (602) connected to it.
Machine for mounting and/or removing vehicle wheels, in particular truck wheels
The present invention regards a machine for mounting and/or removing tyred wheels for vehicles including a framework, means for driving a wheel in rotation, a first arm extending or supported by the framework and a first mounting and/or removal tool supported by the first arm.
TIRE CHANGING APPARATUS
An apparatus for mounting and demounting a tyre relative to a corresponding wheel rim, wherein the apparatus includes: a wheel-holder unit, configured to receive and lock the wheel at an operating position and to set it in rotation about an axis of rotation; a plurality of tools, configured to interact with the tyre to mount and/or demount the tyre; a hydraulic circuit comprising a pump; a plurality of hydraulic actuators, connected to the hydraulic circuit; the hydraulic circuit is configured to drive the actuators of the plurality of actuators synchronously
TIRE MOUNTING APPARATUS
A tire mounting apparatus includes a rim positioning mechanism, a wheel support mechanism and a mounting frame that are disposed on a base in sequence, and a tire pressing mechanism disposed on the mounting frame. The rim positioning mechanism is configured to position a hub of a rim. The wheel support mechanism is configured to support a side peripheral edge of a wheel. The tire pressing mechanism is configured to press a side peripheral edge of a tire for pressing a bead of the tire into the rim. The operation is simple and labor-saving. The tire mounting efficiency can be improved and the labor intensity can be reduced.
APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING TIRES IN BICYCLES, MOTORCYCLES AND THE LIKE
An apparatus for mounting tires in bicycles, motorcycles, includes at least one main frame and at least one support provided with a seat whose shape and dimensions are complementary to those of the hub of a rim of a wheel of a vehicle for temporary accommodation thereof. The support is integral with the main frame. The apparatus includes at least one pair of jaws that are integral with the main frame; at least one element for the mutual clamping of the jaws; and at least one portion of the lateral surface of the tire is interposed between the ends of the jaws subjected to clamping. In this configuration, the portion is compressed transversely to facilitate the arrangement of the bead of the tire within a respective receptacle of the rim, which is rotatably coupled with respect to the seat and therefore also with respect to the jaws.
TYRE CHANGING APPARATUS
A tyre changing apparatus (1) comprises: a frame (10); a supporting element (11) for supporting a wheel (2) rotatably about an axis of rotation (A); an arm (12) movably connected to the frame (10) to be moved by an actuator (5B, 5B) along a direction of movement (B) parallel to the axis of rotation (A); a bead breaker tool (13) connected to the arm (12) to move between an activated position, where it is in contact with the tyre (3), and a deactivated position, where it is spaced from the tyre (3); a control unit (14). The bead breaker tool (13) includes a mounting element (13A) and a bead breaker disc (13B) which rotates freely relative to the mounting element (13A) and comprises a sensor (131), configured to generate a contact signal (132) representing a rotation of the bead breaker disc (138) relative to the mounting element (13A); the control unit (14) is connected to the sensor (131) to receive the contact signal (132).
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING A TIRE
A method of mounting a tire to a wheel includes rotating a tire about an axis of the tire at a first rotation speed and moving a first tire engaging member into contact with the sidewall of the tire, thereby moving a proximate section of a bead of the tire into a well of the wheel. The method further includes moving a second tire engaging member into contact with the sidewall of the tire and rotating the second tire engaging member about the axis of the tire at a second rotation speed different from the first rotation speed. The method also includes moving the second tire engaging member out of contact with the sidewall of the tire and moving the first tire engaging member out of contact with the sidewall of the tire.
