Hitch for a material handling vehicle
A hitch configured to selectively latch to a tow bar is provided. The hitch includes a housing, a frame defining a receiving cavity, a moveable arm, an actuator configured to move the arm between an unlatched position and a latched position, and a contact sensor mounted within the housing on a slotted mounting plate. The arm is configured to engage the tow bar when in the latched position. The slotted mounting plate is configured to enable a position of the contact sensor to be adjusted based on a geometry of the tow bar. The actuator is activated by the contact sensor sensing the presence of the tow bar within the receiving cavity.

HITCHING APPARATUS AND RELATED METHOD
A hitch apparatus is provided for use with a vehicle for providing multiple connector arrangement options. The hitching apparatus may include a body configured for providing first and second arm portions for supporting a respective hitch connector. The body is configured so that each first and second arm portions both extend away from an axis about which the body is selectively rotatable so as to provide a selected hitch connector (ie. selected by way of rotation of the body) in a loading position for connection with a hitch socket provided with a towable platform.

CART/TRAILER
A cart/trailer, yoke mechanism, and hitch mechanism are disclosed. The cart/trailer could be an assembly for moving and transporting objects comprising a tow bar (synonymous herein with a handle or kickstand); a variable-positioning yoke assembly for facilitating the placement of the tow bar into positions of a towbar, handle, or kickstand; and a main structure within which equipment such as sporting accessories may be placed for transport for moving and transporting objects. The coupling device could include a main body with an inner surface, and a pair of opposing flanges extending downwardly and substantially perpendicularly away from the main body for facilitating the positioning of the yoke in variable positions. The hitch mechanism could include a hitch and interface with receiver and hitch portions for facilitating the hitching of the cart/trailer to a mobility device.

Equal angle hitch
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a hitch system that couples a vehicle to an implement powered by the vehicle using a driveshaft supplying power from a power output to the implement. The hitch system comprises a front portion and rear portion, with a mid-yaw pivot coupling the front and rear portions. The front portion couples to a drawbar engaged with the vehicle, and the rear portion couples with the implement. The mid-yaw pivot can be disposed substantially equidistant from a power output of the vehicle and a power input to the implement. This arrangement can provide, during operation, for the angle between the power output and driveshaft to be substantially equal to the angle between the power input and driveshaft. This may provide for improved performance in the implement, including reduced vibration, lower weight, and less maintenance.

High articulating implement hitch
A hitch is provided including a tongue, an insert, and a base. The tongue includes a C-shaped section having an internal spherical raceway and opposing walls, each extending from an opposite arm of the C-shaped section. The insert includes a spherical segment received within the internal spherical raceway and having a draw pin hole, and a projection extending rearward between the opposite arms of the C-shaped section and having a socket recess. The base being pivotally connected to the tongue through the opposing walls. The base includes a ball located in front of the pivotal connection, the ball being received within the socket recess of the insert, and a back end being adapted for connection to a towing implement.
