HITCHING APPARATUS AND RELATED METHOD
A hitch apparatus is provided for use with a vehicle for providing multiple connector arrangement options. The hitching apparatus may include a body configured for providing first and second arm portions for supporting a respective hitch connector. The body is configured so that each first and second arm portions both extend away from an axis about which the body is selectively rotatable so as to provide a selected hitch connector (ie. selected by way of rotation of the body) in a loading position for connection with a hitch socket provided with a towable platform.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STEERING TRAILER COUPLED TO FIFTH WHEEL OF MOTOR VEHICLE
A system and method for steering a trailer include the trailer being coupled to a fifth wheel of a motor vehicle. A trailer steering system for the motor vehicle includes a sliding rail mounted on a vehicle frame of the motor vehicle and extending along a lateral direction of the motor vehicle, a slider slidingly arranged on the sliding rail and carrying the fifth wheel for coupling the trailer to the motor vehicle, and a control device configured to control movement of the slider along the sliding rail depending on a current steering angle of the motor vehicle.
Pivoting Trailer Hitch
A trailer coupling mechanism includes a first end, a second end, a height adjustment assembly, a first swivel assembly, and a second swivel assembly. The first end is adapted to couple to one of a trailer and a vehicle. The second end is adapted to couple to the other of the trailer and the vehicle. The height adjustment assembly is coupled between the first and second ends and is operative to adjust the relative height between the first and second ends. The first swivel assembly is coupled between the height adjustment assembly and the first end and facilitates rotation of the first end with respect to the height adjustment assembly about a first axis. The second swivel assembly is coupled between the second end and the height adjustment assembly and facilitates rotation of the height adjustment assembly with respect to the second end about a second axis parallel to the first axis.
