TRAILER COUPLING
In order to improve a trailer coupling, comprising a ball neck, which is movable between a working position and a rest position and has a pivot bearing body arranged at a first end and a coupling ball arranged at a second end, a pivot unit, which is arranged fixed to a vehicle and by means of which the pivot bearing body is pivotal for the purpose of performing a pivotal movement about a pivot axis between a working position and a rest position, wherein the pivot unit comprises a pivot bearing unit fixed to the vehicle and a rotation-blocking device for blocking a pivotal movement of the pivot bearing body about the pivot axis, at least in the working position, the improvement being such that this susceptibility to faults in a trailer coupling of the kind mentioned in the introduction is avoided, it is proposed that a pivot control unit should be integrated within the pivot unit.
Towbar with a hitch ball system
A towbar with a hitch ball system is shown and described. The towbar with a hitch ball system may include a first bushing member, a second bushing member telescopingly engaged with the first bushing member, the second bushing member including at least one aperture, and a pivoting arm telescopingly engaged with the second bushing member. The towbar with a hitch ball system may also include an engagement device operatively coupled with the second bushing member, the engagement device including a pin member and an electrically-operating device, where the electrically-operating device generally aligns the pin member with the at least one aperture of the second bushing member.
Installation unit with latching elements for carrier unit mounted on a motor vehicle
In order to improve an installation unit for a carrier unit that is mounted on a body of a motor vehicle, comprising a housing having a first housing portion that is supported on one side of the carrier unit, a second housing portion that passes through a receptacle in the carrier unit, and a mounting body that is opposite the first housing portion and is supported on the carrier unit on a side remote from the first housing portion and, when the installation unit is mounted on the carrier unit, is fixed by latching elements, wherein the mounting body has a base body to which the second latching elements are connected, and the mounting body cooperates with support elements that are supported against the carrier unit, in such a way that the connection between the latching elements is on the one hand stable over the long term and on the other can be released easily, it proposed that the second latching elements should be connected to the base body by latching element carriers, and that the latching element carriers should have, on a side facing the second housing portion, pressure faces by way of which the latching element carriers are configured to be urged such that the second latching elements are disengaged from the first latching elements provided on the second housing portion.
DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING CABLES FOR ARTICULATED VEHICLES
Described is a device for supporting cables for articulated vehicles, designed for installation close to a connecting compartment between two adjacent units of an articulated vehicle, including at least one flexible connecting element fixed to the two units and formed by a series of plates connected to each other by interposing deformable laminar elements consisting of elastic metal elements which allow the elastic deformation of the flexible connecting element, and a series of cable-holder elements joined to respective plates of the flexible connecting element to each define at least one receiving seat provided for housing at least one cable, with supporting means for supporting the flexible connecting element containing the cables.

Security system
The present system generally relates to a tamper resistant cap that prevents unwanted access to a semi-tractor trailer's 7 ways connection. The system includes a controller that can be operated remotely to transmit signals to an actuator within the cap. The actuator operates a lock to secure the cap in the closed position and selectively unlock the lock to allow the cap to be opened.

RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLIES
A receptacle assembly includes a receptacle housing, a housing opening, a first receptacle connector, and a second receptacle connector. The receptacle housing includes a first cavity that extends from a first end to a central structure. The housing opening is defined at the first end. The first cavity and the housing opening are sized and shaped to enable insertion of a plug assembly constructed to comply with the Society of Automotive Engineers J2863 standard. The first receptacle connector includes a first portion that extends from the central structure into the first cavity. The second receptacle connector includes a second portion that extends from the central structure into the first cavity. The first and the second receptacle connectors are sized and are disposed such that they are configured to both be inserted into a single connector cavity of the plug assembly and such that they are electrically insulated from one another.
