A parked freight trailer stabilizer and restraint comprising: (a) a kingpin receiver configured to lock onto a kingpin of a parked freight trailer; (b) a jack operatively coupled to the kingpin receiver, the jack repositionable between a retracted position and an extended position; (c) a tail hold operatively coupled to the kingpin receiver, the tail hold repositionable between a stowed position and a restraining position, the tail hold configured to engage a ground mount; and, (d) a transport receiver configured to engage a transport vehicle.

Hitches and connections for automated guided vehicle

This disclosure relates to systems and methods of towing, hitching, and connecting devices. In particular, this disclosure relates to tow devices, hitches, and connections for towing item containers behind vehicles, both autonomous and manually guided.

Tow Hitch Assembly

A tow hitch assembly having a body for mounting the tow hitch assembly relative to an associated vehicle includes a first member rotatably mounted relative to the body and a second member slideably mounted relative to the first member, with the second member including a tow hitch. The tow hitch assembly includes a stowed position at which the first member is in a first rotational position relative to the body and the second member is in a first longitudinal position relative to the first member. Further, the tow hitch assembly includes a deployed position at which the first member is in a second rotational position relative to the body and the second member is in a second longitudinal position relative to the first member.

The present invention is a vehicle restraining hook. The hook includes a shank extending between an axle interface and a hook bend. The hook bend comprises an inner hook surface extending between the shank and a hook tip. The inner hook surface comprises at least a primary bend and a secondary bend, and in some cases a tertiary bend. Each of the primary bend and secondary bend comprises two planar surfaces, while the tertiary bend comprises a curved surface. These surfaces interact with a RIG bar to generate a force rotating the hook up and ensuring that it maintains contact with the RIG bar.

Golf cart hitch
09738128 · 2017-08-22 · ·

A golf cart hitch assembly may be attached to a golf cart in a manner to evenly distribute the weight of a towed element across the frame of the golf cart. This may be helpful in towing a relatively substantial element, such as a trailer. One advantage of the inventor's golf cart hitch is that it requires relatively little or no permanent modification to the golf cart itself. Another advantage is the ability to attach one or more conventional ball hitches at different locations on the assembly. In its simplest form, the assembly includes a pair of brackets for attachment to the frame of the golf cart, such as via bolts or screws, and a plate attached to both brackets, the plate including one or more locations for the attachment of one or more ball hitches.

Provided are embodiments of a hitch lift system including an elongated receiver member configured to engage a complementary opening of a receiver hitch of a vehicle, and a lift system that includes a lifting shaft adapted that extends and retracts vertically, and a lifting system to regulate the vertical extension and retraction of the lifting shaft.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOVING A WASTE CONTAINER
20220161615 · 2022-05-26 ·

A system and a method for moving one or more waste containers from a waste container staging location to a distant waste pick-up location are provided. At least one cable is disposed in a predefined configuration on a base of a trunk of a vehicle. A hitch member is in communication with the mid-section of the cable. The hitch member hitches the mid-section of the cable to the base of the trunk, with the opposing distal ends of the cable extending freely external to the trunk. Attachment members are attached to the opposing distal ends of the cable(s). Each attachment member detachably connects to a connection element of the waste container(s) at the waste container staging location, and allows the cable hitched to the trunk of the vehicle to pull and move the waste container(s) to the waste pick-up location when the vehicle is driven to the waste pick-up location.

TRACTION ROBOT, CONVEYING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TRACTION ROBOT

Disclosed is a traction robot, a conveyance system and a method for controlling a traction robot. The traction robot includes a main body, and further includes a control assembly and a rotating arm. The rotating arm is rotationally assembled on the main body. The rotating arm comprises a first rotating arm and a second rotating arm. The first rotating arm and the second rotating arm are both provided with a clamping part for clamping a towed article on one side facing the towed article, and expansion members are both provided between the clamping part and the rotating arm. The control assembly drives fluid input into or discharge from the expansion member to control expansion or retraction of the expansion member, so as to control the clamping part to clamp or release the towed article.
