SLIDE BEARING AND STRUT-TYPE SUSPENSION
Provided are: a slide bearing configured so that degradation in sliding performance caused by the entry of dust, muddy water, etc. can be prevented at low cost; and a strut-type suspension using the slide bearing. A slide bearing (1) is provided with: an upper case (2); a lower case (3) joined to the upper case (2) in a pivotal manner and forming an annular space (5) between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3); and an annular center plate (4) disposed in the annular space (5). An annular lip (43) is formed integrally at the outer peripheral edge (423) of the flange (42) of the center plate (4). The lip (43) is in contact, while deflecting, with an annular protrusion (252) formed in an annular groove (24) in the upper case (2) and covers a thrust bearing surface (422) and a thrust supporting surface (251).
Strut mount
A strut mount includes an inner member, an outer member, and a body rubber. A stopper rubber which protrudes outward in an axial direction is disposed on the body rubber. The outer member includes a supporting portion which covers the stopper rubber from outside thereof in the axial direction. The stopper rubber includes a pedestal protrusion portion which protrudes outward in the axial direction from the inner member and a tip protrusion portion which protrudes outward in the axial direction from the pedestal protrusion portion, contacts the supporting portion, and has an elasticity in the axial direction lower than that of the pedestal protrusion portion. The pedestal protrusion portion and the tip protrusion portion taper outward in the axial direction.

Suspension apparatus for vehicle
A suspension apparatus for a vehicle may include: a lower arm having a fastening hole formed therein; and a lower pad mounted on the lower arm, wherein the lower pad comprises: a pad body disposed on the lower arm, and configured to buffer shock; and an insertion protrusion protruding from the pad body, and inserted into the fastening hole, wherein the fastening hole and the insertion protrusion each have an angular shape.
Hydraulic suspension system for off-road vehicles
A system and methods are provided for a suspension system of an off-road vehicle that allows the springs to be mounted remotely, in any location on the vehicle, enabling the use of spring sizes, spring rates, motion ratios, and damping profiles that would be impractical with traditional suspensions. The suspension system includes a hydraulic cylinder coupled between the wheel and the chassis, in lieu of a conventional spring. This cylinder is in fluid communication with another cylinder by way of a hydraulic hose. This second cylinder includes a piston that presses against a suspension spring that is in contact with a fixed spring stop, thus transferring spring forces to the wheel. Alternatively, the spring stop may comprise a control actuator that moves according to signals from an onboard computer control system, enabling active control over spring load and chassis attitude.
Friction Free Roller Spring Perch
A method for creating a roller spring perch has steps for making a steel frame bracket, procuring snap rings, procuring four bearings, machining a steel cylindrical bearing housing, machining a bearing shaft, assembling the bearing shaft to the bearing housing with the four bearings pressed onto each of two bearing lands, assembling the snap rings in snap ring grooves of the bearing shaft, placing the bearing housing with the bearing shaft and bearings centered through holes in sidewalls of the steel bracket; and spot welding the bearing housing to the sidewalls of the steel bracket.

SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR AN OFF-ROAD VEHICLE UTILIZING HYDRAULICALLY COUPLED REMOTE MOUNTED SPRINGS
A system and methods are provided for a suspension system of an off-road vehicle that allows the springs to be mounted remotely, in any location on the vehicle, enabling the use of spring sizes, spring rates, motion ratios, and damping profiles that would be impractical with traditional suspension designs. The suspension system includes a hydraulic cylinder coupled between a suspension component and a chassis, in lieu of a conventional spring. The hydraulic cylinder is in fluid communication with another, second hydraulic cylinder, by way of a hydraulic hose. The second hydraulic cylinder presses against a suspension spring that is in contact with a fixed spring stop, thereby transferring spring forces to the wheel. Alternatively, the spring stop may comprise a control actuator that moves, enabling active control over spring load.
