An independently driving wheel module includes: a base frame including an upper end fixed to a coupling surface of a vehicle body, and a rotation part coupled to the upper end of the base frame such that the rotation part is rotatable with respect to the upper end of the base frame; a connection link including a first end integrally coupled to the rotation part, and a second end having a shape extending downward from the first end of the connection link; a driving wheel disposed at a side of the second end of the connection link and coupled to the second end of the connection link; and a rotation plate including an upper and lower surfaces extending obliquely in misaligned directions, the rotation plate being interposed between the base frame and the vehicle body so as to be rotatable with respect to the base frame or the vehicle body.

VEHICLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

A vehicle suspension system smoothly changes a vehicle posture with respect to a steering force and a steering angle by minimizing a kinematic roll at an initial turning stage, thereby allowing a driver to obtain the sensation of maneuvering the vehicle well. The suspension system includes a front suspension having geometry satisfying that a caster angle is +3° to +5°, a caster trail is +20 to +30 mm, an intersection point between a kingpin axis and ground is located on an inner side in a vehicle width direction of a center of a tire contact patch, and an anhedral angle of a lower arm is +2.8° to +7.2°. Arear suspension includes five links and has geometry satisfying that a virtual kingpin axis extends near the center of a tire contact patch of a rear wheel assembly and extends vertically at −2° to 0°.

REAR SUSPENSION STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE

In a rear suspension device of an automotive vehicle, a shock absorber is provided perpendicularly to a H-shaped lower arm in a side view, respective axis of resilient bushes of pivotal portions which pivotally support upper and lower arms at a vehicle-body side are configured to be parallel to a standard line which extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction in a plan view, and an imaginary axial line which interconnects respective centers of front and rear connection portions, via which the lower arm is connected to a wheel side, is configured to extend obliquely forward and inward relatively to the vehicle longitudinal direction.

MULTI-BEARING-POINT INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION

An independent suspension comprises upper and lower fork arms, elastic elements, shock absorber and fork arm positioning pivots. The fork arms are A-shaped, front ends of the fork arms respectively connect to upper and lower suspension points of a wheel, and rear ends of the fork arms connect to a vehicle frame through the elastic elements. The shock absorber mounts on top of the front end of the upper fork arm. Vehicle frame bearing pivot points and transmission parts are constructed on peripheries of the upper and lower fork arms. The arrangement absorbs bearing elastic forces by changing directions of force and the arms of force, to form multiple points supporting multiple elastic elements, so force applied on the wheel is distributed by multiple points, increasing average running speed. Increasing the number and arrangement of the elastic elements reduces vehicle height, optimizes space utilization and improves stability and running smoothness.

Support apparatus for an off-axle load

A vehicle including a frame having an axle and a support apparatus coupled thereto. The support apparatus is configured to support a load coupled to the axle and permit the load to translate along an x-axis, a y-axis, and a z-axis.

This arm support structure is equipped with: a bracket on which base end section of an arm of a suspension device is positioned between a pair of facing walls which face one another at a distance in vehicle chassis front-rear direction; axial support members which axially support the base end section on the bracket, by being inserted into long holes formed to pass through facing walls and through-holes formed to pass through the base end section; eccentric plate members which are formed in a circular shape and capable of integrally rotating with axial support members, and have an engaging hole capable of engaging an axial support member formed to pass therethrough at a location offset in radial direction from the circular center thereof; and a plurality of contact parts which contact the circumferential edge of the eccentric plate members, and rotatably support the eccentric plate members.

BUSHING FOR USE IN A VEHICLE SUSPENSION

A bushing includes a body that is cylindrical; a bore through the body; a channel extending along an inner face of the bore; and a groove on a substantially planar surface of the bushing and including a first end intersecting with an end of the channel and a second end extending radially from the bore.

Rod-end front suspension

A rod-end front suspension is provided for an off-road vehicle. The rod-end front suspension comprises a spindle assembly that is pivotally coupled with an upper suspension arm by way of a first rod-end joint and pivotally coupled with a lower suspension arm by way of a second rod-end joint. A steering rod-end joint coupled with the spindle assembly pivotally receives a steering rod. An axle assembly coupled with the spindle assembly conducts torque from a transaxle to a wheel coupled with the spindle assembly. Each of the first and second rod-end joints comprises a ball rotatably retained within a casing. The ball is fastened within a recess between parallel prongs extending from the spindle assembly. A threaded shank extending from the casing is threadably fixated with the suspension arm, such that the spindle assembly may be moved with respect to the casing and the suspension arm.
