UNIVERSAL TUBE ADAPTOR AND SHOCK ABSORBER INCLUDING THE SAME
A universal tube adaptor for a shock absorber includes a connector body, and first and second connectors. The connector body has intersecting first and second connecting holes respectively and rotatably receiving the first and second connectors rotatably therein. The first connector has a first guiding hole and an overflow hole perpendicular to, in fluid communication with, and cooperating with the first guiding hole to define an oil-filled space in fluid communication with the second connecting hole. The second connector has a second guiding hole in fluid communication with the second connecting hole and the overflow hole, so that the second guiding hole, the oil-filled space and the first guiding hole cooperate with one another to define an oil passage permitting damping oil to flow therein.
WORK VEHICLE
A link mechanism is provided between a first member and a second member to effect a bending/stretching motion in operative association with a telescopic expanding/contracting motion of the first member and the second member. A supporting mechanism is provided to support, to the link mechanism, a wire having flexibility and connected between a first device on the side of the first member and a second device on the side of the second member. The supporting mechanism fixes the wire to each link member of the link mechanism in position so that the wire is deformed while maintaining its state following a shape of the link mechanism in operative association with the bending/stretching motion of the link mechanism.
WHEEL SUSPENSION AND SWING ARM FOR A WHEEL DRIVEN BY AN ELECTRICAL OR PNEUMATIC MOTOR
A wheel suspension (1) for a wheel (23) of a vehicle, in particular the rear wheel of a utility vehicle, driven by an electric or pneumatic motor (2), having a swing arm (3) which is mounted pivotably around a pivot axis (7) on the vehicle in a first region (4) and is supported on the vehicle in a second region (8), wherein a third region (10) of the swing arm (3) carries a part of the motor (2) which is rotationally fixed in relation to the swing arm (3) in order to transmit a torque to the wheel using a rotating part of the motor (2).
Vehicle cable spacers and methods
A vehicle including a vehicle cable spacer coupled to an outboard arm of a suspension bracket and including: a body; a first face, directed toward the suspension bracket; a first anti-rotation tab extending inboard from the first face and engaging an edge of the suspension bracket; a second face spaced apart from the first face by a width of the body; and a second anti-rotation tab extending outboard from the second face; a cable cuff coupled to the second face of the vehicle cable spacer, an edge of the cable cuff engaging the second anti-rotation tab of the vehicle cable spacer; and a vehicle cable extending through the cable cuff such that the vehicle cable is spaced from the vehicle cable spacer.
Protective cover for electrical coupler of vehicle shock absorber and vehicle shock absorber including same
A shock absorber for damping movement of a wheel suspension system of a vehicle can include a damper tube, a piston, a damping adjustment assembly, and a protective cover. The damper tube can contain a fluid. The piston can be located in the damper tube so as to accommodate relative movement between the damper tube and the piston. The damping adjustment assembly can be connected to the damper tube, and can include a reservoir, a solenoid valve, and a wire harness connection. The solenoid valve can be in fluid communication with each of the reservoir and the damper tube and configured to selectively open and close fluid communication between the reservoir and the damper tube. The wire harness connection can be in electrical communication with the solenoid valve. The protective cover can contain the wire harness connection.
A DOUBLE WISHBONE SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR AN IN-WHEEL ELECTRIC MOTOR
A double wishbone suspension system for an in-wheel electric motor comprises an upper arm having a first end pivotally coupled to an upper portion of a motor mounting plate and two spaced apart second ends, the upper arm second ends are respectively coupled to first and second suspension mounting points; a lower arm having a first end pivotally coupled to a lower portion of the mounting plate and two spaced apart second ends, the lower arm second ends are respectively coupled to third and fourth suspension mounting points; a first coupling member having a first end pivotally coupled between the lower arm first second ends and a first coupling member second end is pivotally coupled to a second coupling element first end, wherein a second coupling member second end is pivotally coupled to the mounting plate between the first ends of the upper and lower arms.
SHOCK ABSORBER
A mounting eye (21) is fastened to a rod by pushing, partially or over an entire periphery, an outer periphery of a joint portion of a mounting eye into an annular groove of the rod. Accordingly, an axial length of a fastening portion can be set shorter than that of a related-art structure (screw fastening), thereby being capable of securing a stroke of the rod of a shock absorber in which the mounting eye is fastened to the rod.
ACTIVE SHOCK ABSORBER DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH INTEGRATED CONTROL UNIT
A shock absorber device for a motor vehicle includes a spring support, a spring, a damping device configured to exert a damping force, a control unit, an electric motor electrically connected to the control unit and controllable by the control unit through a power supply signal emitted by the control unit, such that the electric motor provides a torque or a force corresponding to the power supply signal, and conversion means configured to control the damping device turning the torque or force outputted into a further force corresponding to the torque or force outputted and exerted by means of the damping device, wherein the control unit is configured to receive a first control signal indicative of a target value for the further force and to provide the power supply signal as a function of the first control signal, such that the power supply signal corresponds to the target value for the further force, the control unit being coupled to the spring support in a fixed position relative to the spring support.
