End members are supportable along a damper housing and dimensioned for securement to flexible spring member. End members include a wall with a side wall portion including an inner side surface portion. First projections extend toward a first inner edge with a first shoulder surface portion faces a second end. Second projections extend inward beyond the inner side surface portion toward a second inner edge with a second shoulder surface portion facing a first end. Second projections are spaced axially from first projections such that a groove is formed inward of the inner side surface portion between first and second shoulder surface portions. End member assemblies including such an end member as well as gas spring and damper assemblies and suspension systems are also included.

Stabilizer bar bushing

A cantilever bushing assembly anchors the central torsional section of a vehicular stabilizer bar in a cantilevered manner relative to a vehicle understructure. The bushing assembly comprises a bracket having a pocket centered on a pocket axis that coincides with a longitudinal axis of the stabilizer bar. Two plastic outer cans are cooperatively slidable into the pocket. Each outer can has an anti-rotation lobe received in respective keyways formed in the pocket. A rubber buffer is bonded to each outer can. Each rubber buffer has a frusto-cylindrical inner bearing surface that forms an arcuate portion of an interior bushing diameter. The inner bearing surface is post-vulcanization bonded to the central torsional section of the stabilizer bar. An arched rate plate is embedded within each rubber buffer. The rubber buffers compress in the area of the inner bearing surfaces and constrict about the central torsional section of the stabilizer bar.

A suspension mount assembly for coupling a first component and a second component of a vehicle comprises a housing including a bore and a first shoulder. The housing is adapted to be coupled to the first component of the vehicle. An elastomeric bushing includes a bore adapted to receive the second component of a vehicle. The elastomeric bushing includes a first portion, a spaced apart ring portion, and a web portion interconnecting the ring portion of the first portion. The ring portion, the web portion and the first portion are integrally formed with one another. A cap includes a peripheral portion having a second shoulder. The elastomeric bushing is positioned within the housing bore with the ring portion being engaged with the first shoulder. The first shoulder cooperates with the second shoulder to trap the ring portion between the housing and the cap and provide a seal and vibration isolator therebetween.

Insulator for vehicle suspension and manufacturing method thereof

An insulator for a vehicle suspension and a method of manufacturing the same, may include an insulator having a housing which is configured to be engaged with a vehicle body and in which a hook protrusion is formed to protrude from an upper end opening of the housing; a bush which is configured to be engaged with a piston rod of a shock absorber, wherein a vibration-proof rubber, a core, and an outer pipe are integrally mounted in the bush, and wherein the bush is press-inserted into and fixed in an inner space of the housing so that the bush becomes hooked upward to the hook protrusion; and a fixing plate press-inserted into and fixed in the inner space of the housing so that the fixing plate is in contact with a lower end portion of the bush and supports the bush from a lower side thereof.

FASTENER STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

In a fastener structure for a vehicle, a height adjustment spacer is interposed between first and second vehicle body frames fixed with a bolt and a nut. The nut has a first insertion hole through which a bolt is screwed, and is fixed to a surface of the first vehicle body frame. The height adjustment spacer has a second insertion hole through which the bolt is inserted, and is disposed in contact with another surface of the first vehicle body frame. The bolt is inserted through an attachment hole of the second vehicle body frame, the second insertion hole, an attachment hole of the first vehicle body frame, and the first insertion hole.
