A lifting arrangement for lifting a wheel axle of a vehicle comprising a first elongated member extending along a first axis comprising a vehicle frame coupling portion for connecting the lifting arrangement to a vehicle frame of the vehicle during use, a second elongated member extending along a second axis comprising a wheel axle coupling portion for connecting the lifting arrangement to the wheel axle of the vehicle during use, wherein the vehicle frame coupling portion and the wheel axle coupling portion are offset from each other by a length and wherein the lifting arrangement is arranged to adjust the length between a maximum length and a minimum length by axially moving the second elongated member along the second axis relative the first elongated member, wherein the lifting arrangement further comprises an engaging device for axially moving the second elongated member along the second axis relative the first elongated member.
ACTUATOR OR SUSPENSION
An actuator whose total length can be reduced is provided. An actuator (2) includes: a casing (7); a hollow shaft (8) rotatably supported by the casing (7) via a bearing (9a, 9b), the hollow shaft (8) including a bottom portion (8b); a screw shaft (14) coupled to the bottom portion (8b) of the hollow shaft (8), the screw shaft (14) sharing a common center line with the hollow shaft (8); and a nut (15) threadedly connected to the screw shaft (14). The nut (15) is capable of moving in an axial direction of the screw shaft (14) to enter between the hollow shaft (8) and the screw shaft (14).
Independent suspension system
An independent suspension system for a vehicle includes: a steering unit configured to be controlled to adjust the steering angle of a wheel, a shock absorber engaged with the wheel and configured to absorb impacts applied to the wheel and including a first shock absorber and a second shock absorber, each of which arranged in a forward-rearward direction on opposite side surfaces of the wheel, and a link unit disposed between the shock absorber and the steering unit in order to vary the distance between the wheel and the steering unit. The link unit includes a first upper arm disposed between the first shock absorber and the steering unit, a second upper arm disposed between the second shock absorber and the steering unit, and at least one ground clearance adjustment unit engaged with the first and second upper arms in order to vary the distance between the first and second upper arms.
Spherical wheel leaning systems for vehicles
A suspension system for a vehicle is disclosed. In some embodiments, the suspension system includes a wheel arch. In some embodiments, a wheel arch includes a gear track. In some embodiments, a wheel axle is coupled to a first and a second end of the wheel arch. In some embodiments, a steradian shaped wheel is mounted on the wheel axle. In some embodiments, a motor frame is coupled to a chassis of the vehicle. In some embodiments, the motor frame includes a lean motor configured to engage with the gear track. In some embodiments, actuation of the lean motor causes the wheel arch to rotate along an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle to create a change in a camber angle of the wheel.
Wheel module for a motor vehicle and corresponding motor vehicle
A wheel module (10) for a motor vehicle includes a wheel (12) and a wheel guide (14) for guiding the wheel (12). The wheel guide (14) includes a wheel carrier unit (16) for supporting the wheel (12); a wheel fork (24) supporting the wheel carrier unit (16); a steering actuator (18) for adjusting the steering angle of the wheel (12); a spring-damper unit (28); and a level adjustment unit (36) for adjusting the height of the vehicle body (32) of the motor vehicle. The spring-damper unit (28) is arranged in a region of the wheel guide (14) between the wheel fork (24) and the wheel carrier unit (16).
RADIALLY PRELOADED RACK BEARING
A rack and pinion steering system includes a housing, a rack, a pinion gear, and a radially preloaded rack bearing. The rack is supported by the housing, and the pinion gear is meshed to the rack. The radially preloaded rack bearing is supported and preloaded to the housing and is preloaded to the rack.
BOAT
A boat includes: a hull; a float that supports the hull; a suspension that is disposed between the hull and the float and absorbs vibration transmitted from the float to the hull; a sensor that detects an interval between the hull and the float in a vertical direction; a control unit that generates a control signal in accordance with the interval; a battery that is charged or discharged in accordance with the control signal; and a motor that generates electric power by utilizing relative movement between the hull and the float in the vertical direction, charges the battery with the generated electric power in accordance with the control signal, and drives the suspension using the electric power discharged from the battery in accordance with the control signal.
