Vehicular holding device
Provided is a vehicular holding device that, in an ON state, holds a vehicle component in a state where displacement of the vehicle component in an axial direction is restrained, and that, in an OFF state, holds the vehicle component in a state where displacement of the vehicle component in the axial direction is possible. The vehicular holding device includes at least one engagement part, a cam mechanism, and an axial direction restraining part. The at least one engagement part is at a position where the engagement part engages with an engaged part in the ON state, and is at a position where the engagement part is separated from the engaged part in the OFF state. The cam mechanism displaces the at least one engagement part from the OFF-state position to the ON-state position. The axial direction restraining part receives axial-direction force acting on the at least one engagement part.
Rolling type vehicle
A rolling type vehicle includes a pair of left and right front wheels and has a vehicle body capable of rolling. The rolling type vehicle includes a pair of left and right arm members supported in a swingable manner by the vehicle body on inner sides in the transverse direction for supporting the left and right front wheels in a steerable manner on outer sides in the transverse direction. A pair of left and right knuckle members are supported by transversely outer end portions of the left and right arm members in a swingable manner and which are steered together with the left and right front wheels, respectively. A regulating member for regulating the turning angle of each front wheel is provided between the transversely outer end portion of at least one of the left and right arm members and the knuckle member supported by the transversely outer end portion.
Adjustable ball joint coupling
An apparatus is described for interconnecting a steering knuckle and lower suspension arm. The apparatus includes a ball joint assembly having a lateral adjustment feature that allows for increased range of adjustment.
Fastening Arrangement of a Vibration Damper
A fastening arrangement of a vibration damper of a vehicle includes a rubber bearing with a first bush and a second bush, a fastener where via the fastener one of the first bush and the second bush of the rubber bearing is fixed in three degrees of longitudinal freedom with regard to a wheel support of the vehicle or the body of the vehicle, and a measure disposed on the second bush and on the wheel support or on the body of the vehicle where via the measure a degree of rotational freedom of the second bush about an axis of the fastener is blocked by a positively locking block. The positively locking block is formed by a convexly curved cylinder segment of the second bush and a concavely curved cylinder segment of the wheel support or the body of the vehicle that are engagable into one another.
Anti-dive bar system with selective fixation
Aspects of the disclosure relate to an anti-dive bar system that includes a first bar with a first floating end and a first fixed end mechanically coupled to a first axle. The anti-dive bar system further includes a second bar with a second floating end and a second fixed end mechanically coupled to a second axle. The anti-dive bar system further includes a coupler with a sleeve and a locking member. The sleeve is configured to receive at least a portion of the first bar. The locking member is moveable between a retracted position in which the first floating end of the first bar is moveable relative to the sleeve and the second floating end of the second bar and an extended position in which the first floating end of the first bar is fixed relative to the sleeve and the second floating end of the second bar.
Adjustable ball joint coupling
An apparatus is described for interconnecting a steering knuckle and lower suspension arm. The apparatus includes a ball joint assembly having a lateral adjustment feature that allows for increased range of adjustment.
Stabilizer device
This stabilizer device is provided with first and second stabilizers and a joint device that can be switched between and ON-state and an OFF-state. The ON-state is a state in which a force inputted to one of the stabilizers can be transmitted to the other stabilizer, and the OFF-state is a state in which said transmission is disabled. The joint device has at least one engagement part that can be displaced to an engagement position and a non-engagement position. In addition, the joint device assumes the ON-state when the at least one engagement part is in the engagement position, and assumes the OFF-state when the at least one engagement part is in the non-engagement position.
Cam adjustment mechanism for vehicle suspension control arm mount
A vehicle suspension assembly including a suspension control arm pivotally coupled to a vehicle frame member by a bushing assembly. The bushing assembly includes a bushing bracket, a bushing, and a cam adjustment mechanism that couples the bushing bracket to a connection interface of the vehicle frame member. The cam adjustment mechanism includes a cam plate rotatably retained on a first fastener such that the cam plate is rotatable relative to the bushing bracket independent of rotation of the first fastener. The cam plate is rotatable relative to the first fastener and the bushing bracket about an axis of rotation that is spaced from a centerline of the bushing at a nonparallel orientation. Rotation of the cam plate relative to the first fastener adjusts the position of the bushing bracket and therefore the bushing relative to the vehicle frame member to provide alignment adjustment.
Method for producing a link mounting arrangement of a motor vehicle, and mounting arrangement
A method for producing a mounting arrangement for a link of a motor vehicle suspension that is or can be pivotably mounted on a subframe of the motor vehicle, having the following steps: providing the subframe, which has a first and a second mounting flange for mounting the link; providing at least one intermediate product of a bracket; integrally joining the intermediate product to a mounting flange of the subframe by welding; forming an elongated hole in the intermediate product by punching of the same; and forming at least one stop on the intermediate product for an adjusting eccentric for chassis adjustment by stamping the intermediate product.
