HYDRAULIC STOPPING DAMPER
20230039371 · 2023-02-09 ·

Present disclosure A hydraulic stopping damper includes a cylinder in which a work fluid is stored, a piston rod coupled such that one side of the piston rod is to be inserted into an inner space of the cylinder, and a rod guide through which the piston rod passes and coupled to one side of the cylinder. The hydraulic stopping damper includes a rebound spring surrounding the piston rod and disposed in an inner space of the cylinder, and a shock mitigator between the rod guide and the rebound spring, the shock mitigator configured to generate a damping force by a hydraulic pressure of the work fluid when one side of the rebound spring compressed in response to a rebound stroke of the piston rod is inserted into the rod guide.

Air suspension strut having an elastic damper bearing fastening

An air suspension strut for a motor vehicle comprises an air spring having an air spring cover and a rolling piston. A shock damper is integrated with the air spring and has a damper tube and a piston rod receivable within the damper tube. A rolling bellows is secured between the spring cover and the rolling piston thereby delimiting a variable volume pressure chamber filled with compressed air. The rolling bellows rolls on the rolling piston with a rolling fold being formed. A damper bearing is accommodated in a bearing socket of the air spring cover and connected to the piston rod. The damper bearing comprises a supporting piece, an elastomer body, and a sleeve. A closure element inserted in the bearing socket above the damper bearing. An elastic element arranged between the sleeve and the closure element.

BUMP STOP DEVICE WITH SEAL

A device includes a bottom support cover, a top bracing cover, an annular passage being defined between the covers, at least one bearing disposed between the covers, and at least one annular seal. The seal provides a fixing portion secured by mechanical link to a first cover out of the bottom support cover and the top bracing cover and at least one sealing lip extending towards the second cover in such a way that a free end of the lip comes to bear via a sliding-contact portion with a sealing surface of the second cover. The second cover is provided with an annular protection rim protruding from the sealing surface, the protection rim being offset towards the annular passage facing the portion of contact of the free end of the sealing lip with the sealing surface.

This arm support structure is equipped with: a bracket on which base end section of an arm of a suspension device is positioned between a pair of facing walls which face one another at a distance in vehicle chassis front-rear direction; axial support members which axially support the base end section on the bracket, by being inserted into long holes formed to pass through facing walls and through-holes formed to pass through the base end section; eccentric plate members which are formed in a circular shape and capable of integrally rotating with axial support members, and have an engaging hole capable of engaging an axial support member formed to pass therethrough at a location offset in radial direction from the circular center thereof; and a plurality of contact parts which contact the circumferential edge of the eccentric plate members, and rotatably support the eccentric plate members.

Suspension system having rebound control for a vehicle

A vehicle suspension system for a vehicle having a body supported on a frame includes a first suspension component having a surface and a bracket cantilevered from the surface, a second suspension component including a surface portion, and a spring element mounted to one of the bracket and the surface portion of the second suspension component. Interaction between the spring element and the another of the bracket and the surface portion of the second suspension component limits upward travel of the body of the vehicle.

A modular suspension buffer for vehicle has customizable hardness and height to provide various combinations of initial contact softness and non-linearly increasing resistance during compression so as to improve driving stability, loading capacity, off road performance, and/or ride comfort while extending the operational lifespan of the vehicle suspension system.

Suspension device for vehicle

A double-wishbone type of suspension device for a vehicle comprises a forked-shaped upper arm, a forked-shaped lower arm, and a connecting rod which connects a front-side arm portion of the upper arm and a rear-side arm portion of the lower arm, wherein the connecting rod comprises an upper rod which is rotatably connected to the upper arm, a lower rod which is rotatably connected to said lower arm, and a resilient bush which connects the upper rod and the lower rod in an expandable manner in an axial direction.

SHOCK ABSORBER

A shock absorber for a vehicle includes a damper tube defining a valving piston chamber that contains a hydraulic fluid. The shock absorber further includes a piston rod extending within the damper tube along a first longitudinal axis, and a valving piston assembly slidably fitted in the damper tube. The shock absorber further includes a seat tube disposed in fluid communication with the valving piston chamber and defining a seat piston chamber therein. The shock absorber further includes a seat piston slidably fitted at least partially in the seat tube. The seat piston is configured to move along a second longitudinal axis relative to the seat tube based on a pressure of the hydraulic fluid within the seat tube.

AXLE/SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR HEAVY-DUTY VEHICLES

A tandem mechanical spring axle/suspension system for heavy-duty vehicles includes a tandem assembly that comprises a front beam of a suspension assembly of a front axle/suspension system, a rear beam of a suspension assembly of a rear axle suspension system, and a mechanical spring. The mechanical spring operatively engages the front beam and the rear beam and extends longitudinally therebetween, as well as operatively engages a main member of the vehicle frame.
