Vehicle with deployable towing wheels
Example apparatuses and techniques are disclosed for towing tracked vehicles at high speeds without various deficiencies and for allowing a vehicle to be configured to extend supplemental wheels from a storage configuration into a ground support configuration in which the vehicle is able to make use of the supplemental wheels for additional ground support.
System and method for an autonomous robot drivetrain with an actuated bogie
The present invention relates to a novel robot drive train that is robust, and low cost. The drive train is capable of ascending obstacles greater than the height of its wheels, protects the robot against shocks/vibration, and is highly maneuverable, such as able to execute a zero-point turn. To control the bogie in a variety of scenarios, a novel mechanism is used to selectively limit the articulation range of the bogie and/or programmatically apply a preload to the bogie axle.
Rotation locking device, suspension assembly, and vehicle
A rotation locking device includes a locking module and at least one engaging member. The at least one engaging member is rotatably coupled to the locking module. The locking module is configured to engaging and disengage the at least one engaging member, thereby refraining the at least one engaging member from rotating relative to the locking module.
Wheel assembly of an agricultural implement
A wheel assembly of an agricultural implement includes a wheel and a wheel frame supporting the wheel. The wheel frame is configured to pivotally couple to a toolbar of the agricultural implement, and the wheel frame is configured to rotate between a lowered position and a raised position. The wheel assembly also includes a mount configured to fixedly couple to the toolbar. In addition, the wheel assembly includes a linkage assembly configured to control rotation of the wheel frame between the raised position and the lowered position. The wheel assembly also includes a fastener configured to selectively engage the mount and the linkage assembly while the wheel frame is in the lowered position to block rotation of the wheel frame.
ANTI-ROLL BAR LINK
An anti-roll bar link for a vehicle suspension may be positioned between an anti-roll bar and an articulating arm. The link selectively transfers movement of the arm to the anti-roll bar, depending on a locked or unlocked state. The link includes a body interfacing a slidable shaft. A physical feature selectively locks or unlocks the slidable shaft with respect to the body. The physical feature may include a locking pin, interference with a locking ball, etc. In the locked state, translation of the slidable shaft is restricted, and movement of the arm is transferred through the link to the bar. In the unlocked state, translation of the slidable shaft is permitted, and movement of the arm causes the shaft to translate with respect to the body such that at least a portion of the movement is not transferred to the bar.
AIR-SUSPENSION MODULE FOR A RIGID AXLE WITH SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION
An air-suspension module for a rigid axle including an air-bellows mount and an air-bellows module supported on the air-bellows mount in the operational state of the air-suspension module, the air-bellows module having an air-suspension bellows designed to change its shape and a supporting body connected to the air-suspension bellows, one of the components of the air-bellows mount and the supporting body having a coupling projection protruding along a virtual projection path, which engages with a coupling recess formed at the respectively other component along the projection path, a translatory relative movement of the supporting body being physically limited relative to the air-bellows mount, orthogonally with respect to the projection path and in a direction along the projection path; one of the components of the air-bellows mount and the supporting body having a latching body and the respectively other component of the air-bellows mount and the supporting body having a latching recess such that the latching body is in a form-locking latching engagement with the latching recess, so that a translatory relative movement of the supporting body relative to the air-bellows mount is physically limited in the two opposite directions along the projection path.
Steering shock absorbing structure for in-wheel motor and method thereof
A steering shock absorbing structure for an in-wheel motor includes: a steering input unit configured to detect a steering angle of a steering wheel; a steering unit fastened to the steering input unit, and configured to steer a wheel according to the steering angle of the steering input unit; a tilting unit having a first end connected to the steering unit and a second end connected to the wheel, and configured to be tilted with respect to the steering unit; and a controller configured to selectively drive the tilting unit.
POSITIONING ASSEMBLY FOR PLACING STEERABLE DRIVE IN MULTIPLE POSITIONS WITH RESPECT TO MILLING MACHINE HOUSING
A milling machine includes a frame, a housing, a milling drum mounted on the frame within the housing and a drive assembly. A positioning assembly is provided for moving the drive assembly between a first position which is laterally outside the periphery of the machine housing and a second position which is laterally inside the periphery of the machine housing, and for locking the drive assembly in at least the first and second positions without requiring the operator to manually manipulate a locking pin.
Lifting Device For Rotationally Moving A Motor Vehicle
A lifting device (10) for moving a motor vehicle, comprising a support structure (100, 100a) suitable to be removably or firmly connected to a vehicle underbody of the motor vehicle, and at least one drive shaft (220) which is rotatably mounted on the support structure (100, 100a). The at least one drive shaft (220) is part of a rotary blade drive (200), which rotary blade drive (200) additionally comprises at least one drive motor (211) for rotating the drive shaft (220) about the axis of rotation (221) thereof, and at least one rotary blade (240), that is connected to the drive shaft (220) so as to be able to rotate about the axis of rotation (221) such that the rotary blade (240) can be supported on the ground and the motor vehicle can be lifted and/or moved as a result of the torque (M) acting along the drive shaft (220).
RIDE HEIGHT CONTROL ACTUATOR
An actuator includes a first housing, a second housing fixed to the first housing, and a piston configured to translate relative to each of the first housing and the second housing. The actuator also includes a locking device configured to selectively restrain the piston in a predetermined position relative to each of the first housing and the second housing and release the piston. The actuator additionally includes an actuation mechanism configured to activate the locking device to thereby restrain the piston in the predetermined position. Also disclosed is a suspension system for a vehicle employing such an actuator at a suspension corner, wherein the actuator is used to set a ride height of the vehicle at the suspension corner.
