AIR SUSPENSION CONTROL
Methods and systems are provided for a vehicle suspension system. In some example methods, a height change request is received for a vehicle suspension having a displacement control for implementing height change requests. A displacement of at least one spring of the vehicle suspension may be determined, as well as whether the displacement satisfies a displacement control criteria. The height of the vehicle suspension may be changed using an air mass control in response to determining the displacement control criteria is not satisfied.
AIR SUSPENSION CONTROL
Example illustrations are directed to a suspension system for a vehicle, which includes a controller configured to determine a roughness of a ground surface associated with the vehicle. The controller may be further configured to determine a height adjustment parameter for the suspension system based on the roughness determined, and to facilitate modification of the suspension system based on the determined height adjustment parameter. Example methods are provided, which may include determining, using a controller, a roughness of a ground surface associated with a vehicle, the roughness determined based on ride height. The method may also include determining, using the controller, a height adjustment parameter for a suspension system of the vehicle based on the roughness determined.
PROACTIVE CONTROL OF VEHICLE SYSTEMS
Methods are provided for proactively controlling a component of a system. The system may comprise a vehicle and the component may comprise a suspension of the vehicle. According to various aspects, methods may include obtaining information regarding a travel surface along a travel path that the system will travel at a future time and, based on the information regarding the travel surface, controlling the component of the system to traverse the travel surface. Controlling the component based on the information regarding the travel surface may comprise comparing the information regarding the travel surface to information regarding at least one physical constraint of the system and/or comparing frequency content of the information regarding the travel surface to a threshold frequency. Proactive control methods may provide improved response to disturbances and improved tracking and isolation because a suspension may be controlled with reduced or substantially zero delay.
SUSPENSION CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM, VEHICLE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
This application relates to a suspension control method and system, a vehicle, and a storage medium. The suspension control method includes: acquiring a pavement image in a traveling direction; identifying a variation type corresponding to a pavement smoothness variation according to the pavement image; generating a control signal according to the identified variation type, to adjust a suspension parameter; detecting, by using a sensor coupled to a suspension, pavement characteristic information corresponding to the variation type; and generating a correction signal based on the pavement characteristic information, to correct the control signal. The suspension control method can identify the pavement smoothness variation more accurately and set the suspension damping parameter according to an identification result.
Suspension control device and suspension device
It is an object of the present invention to improve accuracy in estimation of a state of a vehicle in order to achieve excellent ride comfort. An ECU (600) includes a reference vehicle model computation section (1100), which is configured to calculate a reference output by carrying out computation with respect to at least one of a plurality of state amounts in a planar direction and at least one of a plurality of state amounts in an up-down direction in an inseparable manner.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING LANE MARK QUALITY
A host vehicle-based feature harvester is disclosed. In one implementation, the feature harvester includes memory and a processor configured to receive a plurality of images captured by a camera onboard the host vehicle, the plurality of images being representative of an environment of the host vehicle; analyze at least one image from the plurality of images to identify a representation of a lane mark; select at least one sample area of the representation of the lane mark, wherein the at least one sample area is associated with an image location of at least a portion of the representation of lane mark; determine a location identifier of the at least one sample area; determine a surface quality indicator associated with the at least one sample area; and cause transmission of the location identifier and the surface quality indicator to an entity remotely-located relative to the host vehicle.
DRIVING ROBOT DEVICE
A driving robot device is provided. The driving robot device may include a plurality of suspensions configured to absorb a shock applied by a driving surface on which the driving robot device drives; a first driving part that includes a motor and is configured to adjust a strength of the plurality of suspensions; and at least one processor configured to control the first driving part to adjust the strength of the plurality of suspensions based on driving surface information with respect to a state of driving surface, and based on food information with respect to a state of food carried by the driving robot device.
ADVANCED ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED AIR SUSPENSION (ECAS) SYSTEM WITH IMAGE SENSORS
This application relates to an electronically controlled air suspension (ECAS) system. When a vehicle starts, the ECAS system receives data from a wheel height sensor and sets the received height as a default height. When driving, a high-speed line profiler scans the road surface in front of the tires of the vehicle. This information is processed by an image processing unit to determine the amount of air in the corresponding damper. If there is a bump on the road, the ECAS system may reduce the amount of air on the tire side in advance, and if there is a dip, the ECAS system may increase the amount of air on the tire side in advance to minimize vibration. Regarding the residual vibration after passing through the bump or dip, the amount of air is adjusted so that the vibration stops quickly by receiving real-time data from the wheel height sensor.
Vehicle and control method thereof
A vehicle may include a sensor configured to acquire detecting data including front road surface information; a suspension including a spring and a damper; and a controller including a processor and a memory; wherein the controller is configured to identify an unevenness of the front road surface based on the detecting data and control the suspension based on damping force setting information corresponding to the unevenness when the vehicle reaches the unevenness.
Damping control apparatus and method for a vehicle
A damping control apparatus has a control unit that controls an active actuator that generates a control force to damp a sprung, and a storage device for storing a unsprung displacement acquired based on a vertical motion state quantity of a vehicle when the vehicle travels, and the control unit determines a predicted wheel passage position where a wheel is predicted to pass, calculates a time derivative value of an unsprung displacement at the predicted wheel passage position acquired by a preview sensor, calculates a target control force based on a sum of a first control component proportional to the time derivative value and a second control component proportional to an unsprung displacement at the predicted wheel passage position acquired from the storage device, and controls a control force generating device so that a control force when the wheel passes the predicted wheel passage position becomes the target control force.
