Climate control system with slit-vent fluid delivery
A fluid delivery module includes a housing defining a fluid flow path between an inlet and an outlet. The housing includes a top surface portion and a bottom surface portion that are movable to vary a flow direction of a fluid flow along the fluid flow path. The fluid delivery module includes an outlet treatment movable to vary a flow rate of the fluid flow exiting the outlet and a control unit configured to send commands to move at least one of the top surface portion, the bottom surface portion, or the outlet treatment according to a fluid delivery profile that dictates a flow pattern of the fluid flow.
Wireless charging pad with evaporative cooling
Methods, systems, devices and apparatuses for a charging apparatus for a vehicle. The charging apparatus includes a first sensor configured to measure or detect a temperature of the electronic device. The charging apparatus includes at least one of a blower, a bypass valve or a vent configured to adjust the temperature of the electronic device or a surface of a charging pad. The charging apparatus includes a processor coupled to the first sensor and the at least one of the blower, the bypass valve or the vent. The processor is configured to determine that the temperature of the electronic device exceeds a first threshold temperature. The processor is configured to control the at least one of the blower, the bypass valve or the vent to increase or decrease the temperature of the electronic device or the surface of the charging pad.
Vehicular air conditioner
A vehicular air conditioner includes a first outlet that blows a conditioned air frontward to flow past a neck part of an occupant on a seat, and a second outlet that is provided below the first outlet and blows the conditioned air upward to flow past an armpit part of the occupant. The second outlet blows the conditioned air to merge with the conditioned air blown from the first outlet. The second outlet blows the conditioned air with an airflow volume larger than an airflow volume of the conditioned air from the first outlet such that the conditioned air blown from the second outlet guides the conditioned air blown from the first outlet to flow along a face of the occupant.
Air purging system
A vehicle air purging system includes a vehicle body that defines an interior. A support member is coupled to the vehicle body. The support member defines a receiving cavity. The support member defines an aperture proximate the receiving cavity. A one-way valve is coupled to the support member and is disposed within the aperture. A fan is coupled to the support member. The fan includes an outlet aligned with the aperture. A controller is operably coupled to the fan. The controller is configured to activate the fan to blow air from the interior to an area external to the vehicle body through the one-way valve.
Vehicle Window Vent for Protecting Passengers from Excess Heat
A vehicle window vent is shaped and sized to fit in the opening left when the vehicle window is lowered or retracted. The vent fits in the opening, and its edges are captured by channels that hold the window when the window is closed. Along one edge, the vent comprises a channel, similar to the window-opening channel, so that the vent can accept an edge of the window. Thus, when the window is opened and then partially closed on the vent, the window and vent together are held securely in the window opening. The vent comprises louvered openings to allow air in and out of the vehicle. The openings may be covered with screen or mesh to prevent insects from entering the vehicle. Other features may be provided as well. An efficient method for manufacturing the vents is also described and claimed.
HEATING SYSTEM FOR FOOD TRANSPORTATION
A heating system configured to be mounted on a motorcycle may include a food container. The heating system may further include a first coiled pipe mounted within the food container configured to heat the food container and a second coiled pipe coiled around an exhaust pipe of the motorcycle connected in fluid communication with the first coiled pipe. A working fluid may be circulated within a closed loop formed by first coiled pipe and the second coiled pipe utilizing a pumping mechanism. The working fluid may absorb heat from the exhaust pipe of the motorcycle as the working fluid flows through the second coiled pipe, and the working fluid may release the absorbed heat to the food container as the working fluid flows through the first coiled pipe.
Process and apparatus for the removal of metabolic carbon dioxide from a confined space
An apparatus and process for separating and removing CO.sub.2 generated by one or more passengers in the air in the interior of a cabin of a vehicle. Provided are: —a first stream of the air from the interior of the cabin to an interior of a container holding a loose particulate sorbent for CO.sub.2; —a second stream of air depleted in CO.sub.2 from the interior of the container holding the sorbent to an interior of the cabin; —a third stream of the air from exterior of the cabin to the inferior of the container holding the sorbent; and —a fourth stream of air enriched in CO.sub.2 from the interior of the container holding the sorbent to an exterior of the cabin.
Systems and methods for thermal management of vehicle sensor devices
Methods and systems for thermal management of sensors of a vehicle. The system includes a sensor that is attached to a vehicle, a temperature monitor configured to collect temperature data corresponding to the sensor, a processor, and a sensor cleaning subsystem. The sensor cleaning subsystem includes a cleaning fluid reservoir and a port that is positioned to direct cleaning fluid from the reservoir to the sensor. The processor is configured to: receive temperature data corresponding to the sensor from the temperature monitor, determine that a current temperature of the sensor is greater than a first threshold temperature, and cause the sensor cleaning subsystem to initiate a cleaning cycle and direct the cleaning fluid to the sensor to cool down the sensor in response to determining that the current temperature of the sensor is greater than the first threshold temperature.
A BAFFLE ASSEMBLY FOR A REFRIGERATION CONTAINER
A baffle blank for a baffle assembly and a method for deploying the baffle assembly in a storage container for manipulating air flow in the container is provided. The baffle blank is made of stiff planar sheet material and has fold lines, cut lines and sulcations arranged to form a base, a deflector extending from the base along a hinge line, and an angle selector formed as cut-out in the baffle blank. The baffle blank is operable between a collapsed condition in which the base, deflector and angle selector lie in a substantially planar configuration, into a deployed baffle assembly in which the deflector is secured at a selected angle relative to the base by the angle selector with the angle selector extending between the base and deflector.
FRESH AIR DEVICE
