The system may include a rechargeable battery, and a vehicle controller having a vehicle state circuit structured to determine a vehicle operating condition value and a state-of-charge value of the rechargeable battery, and a coupling determination circuit structured to provide an internal combustion engine-first motor generator coupling command in response to the vehicle operating condition value and the state-of-charge value. In response to the internal combustion engine-first motor generator coupling command being provided as coupled, the internal combustion engine may power the first motor generator.

An HVAC air distribution device to promote temperature stratification within a larger volume. The device comprised of a front side coupled to a back side defining a cavity for directing a flow of air. The front side comprised of a pliable material and configured for the distribution of the flow of air within the channel. Accordingly, the front side comprises an air permeable portion to release flow from the channel to provide a low velocity of uniform air flow across a length of the device. This low velocity uniform air flow encourages temperature stratification within a distinct area of the larger volume to increase comfort of an occupant and promote efficiency of HVAC systems.

A roof structure for an agricultural vehicle includes an upper roof assembly, a lower roof assembly, and an air-conditioning chamber formed in the lower roof assembly. An inlet chamber and an outlet chamber for air-conditioned air are provided such that the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber between the lower roof assembly and the upper roof assembly include chambers separated from each other. The structure also includes a circulation opening for supplying recirculated air arranged at the inlet chamber and an air-guiding element arranged in the inlet chamber, at the circulation opening, and at the air-conditioning chamber. A region is sealed in relation to an external environment.

Transport refrigeration system

A transport refrigeration system (26) includes a transport refrigeration unit (44), an energy storage device (46), a supply refrigerant tube (108), a return refrigerant tube (110) and at least one electrical pathway (98). The transport refrigeration unit is adapted to cool a container. The energy storage device is adapted to provide electrical energy for operating the transport refrigeration unit. The supply refrigerant tube flows a refrigerant from the transport refrigeration unit to the energy storage device, and the return refrigerant tube flows the refrigerant from the energy storage device back to the transport refrigeration unit to cool the battery in the energy storage device (46). The electrical pathway extends between the transport refrigeration unit and the energy storage device, and supplies at least electrical energy to the transport refrigeration unit.

Parking Cooler

A parking cooler which is capable of battery powered operation during engine off operation. The parking cooler or air conditioning system may vary in cooling capacities to maximize cooling or maximize battery life. The parking cooler includes one or more condensers and a housing to accommodate such variation of cooling capacity.

COOLING SYSTEM, AND A METHOD OF CONTROLLING A COOLING SYSTEM

A cooling system for a vehicle propelled by an electric machine. The cooling system is arranged, when the vehicle is operated in a braking mode, to control a first and a second radiator valve to direct a flow of fluid from a radiator through a first fluid circuit and prevent the flow of fluid from the radiator to enter the second fluid circuit, control a compressor arrangement to flow a refrigerant in a direction from a heat exchanger to a condenser of a third fluid conduit, and control a second circuit valve arrangement to direct a heat source fluid to circulate through a heat exchanger and an electric heat source.

An air filtration system for an operator environment of an agricultural vehicle including at least one external inlet, a first filtration device having a coarser level of filtration located between the external inlet and an HVAC system, a second filtration device having a second finer level of filtration and an associated blower located between the external inlet and the HVAC system where the air filtration system selectively connects either the first filtration device to the HVAC system blower or the second filtration device and its associated blower to the HVAC system blower and a bypass permanently connects the HVAC system blower and the second filtration device.

An electric drivetrain for installation in a vehicle chassis. A generator coupled to an engine generates electric power for charging an array of batteries. The vehicle, including components and subsystems, may be powered electrically from the batteries, allowing the engine and generator to be easily replaced or customized for an industry, geographic region, fuel type, or a set of emission requirements. A thermal management system may determine a battery temperature for the set of batteries and cause one or more of a coolant system, a refrigerant system, an exhaust gas system or an ambient air heat exchanger to add heat to the set of batteries or transfer heat away from the set of batteries.
