VEHICLE EXTERNAL HEATING
A computer includes a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to receive data indicating that an electric vehicle is in an enclosed space; in response to receiving the data, instruct window actuators of the electric vehicle to open windows of the electric vehicle; and in response to receiving the data, instruct a heater of the electric vehicle to generate heat.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PREDICTIVELY MANAGING USER EXPERIENCES IN AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
The disclosed computer-implemented method may include monitoring, during a ride provided by an autonomous vehicle (AV), passenger communications between a passenger and a remote agent using an in-vehicle electronic device. The method may further include identifying passenger ride preferences based on a passenger request, and in association with a first occurrence of a ride event. The method may also include providing confirmation, via the in-vehicle electronic device, that the request is being fulfilled, the fulfillment of which causes a change in the passenger's AV experience based upon changes to features of the AV. The method may further include generating, based upon the request, a prediction of passenger ride preferences for the passenger and then, during a subsequent AV ride carrying the passenger, applying the predicted passenger ride preferences to an AV during a second occurrence of the ride event. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
Motor-vehicle auxiliary ventilation system
A motor-vehicle includes one or more electrically-operated valves, arranged on the structure of the motor-vehicle in a lower position with respect to the windows, for providing a communication between a passenger compartment and the external environment, and one or more electronic control units programmed to activate a ventilation mode of the passenger compartment when the motor-vehicle is parked with the engine off, even with the driver outside the vehicle. The ventilation mode includes controlling at least partial opening of one or more windows and the opening of one or more of the valves to generate a flow of natural air from the bottom upwards through the passenger compartment of the motor-vehicle.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM OF VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An air conditioning system of a vehicle and a control method thereof, includes a distance sensor that is configured to detect a distance from the vehicle to another vehicle in front of the vehicle; a humidity sensor that is configured to detect an inside humidity of the vehicle; an inside temperature sensor that is configured to detect an inside temperature of the vehicle; an outside temperature sensor that is configured to detect an outside temperature of the vehicle; and a controller electrically connected to the distance sensor, the humidity sensor, the inside temperature sensor, and the outside temperature sensor and configured for determining an air conditioning mode of the vehicle based on the distance to another vehicle in front detected by the distance sensor, the inside humidity of the vehicle detected by the humidity sensor, the inside temperature of the vehicle detected by the inside temperature sensor, and the outside temperature of the vehicle detected by the outside temperature sensor.
Air-conditioning control system, air-conditioning management system, and in-vehicle air-conditioning system
An air-conditioning control system includes: a weather acquisition unit configured to obtain weather information including a weather forecast; a prediction unit configured to predict, based on the weather information, an amount of change in a quantity of water droplets adhering to an evaporator of an air conditioner installed in a vehicle; and a switching control unit configured to control switching of an inside/outside air switching mechanism of the air conditioner based on the amount of change, the inside/outside air switching mechanism switching air delivered to an interior of the vehicle to one of inside air and outside air, the inside air being air in the interior of the vehicle, the outside air being air outside the vehicle.
OPERATION OF VEHICLE STATIONARY GENERATOR
A controller of a vehicle, while the vehicle is within a predefined geofenced region and responsive to the vehicle entering park, increases a maximum state of charge threshold for the battery and decreases a minimum state of charge threshold for the battery. The controller also, while the vehicle is located within the predefined geofenced region and responsive to the vehicle exiting park, decreases the maximum state of charge threshold and increases the minimum state of charge threshold.
VEHICLE
In a case where an engine is started based on a remote operation, a limitation condition for limiting an engine start is tightened or a stop condition after the engine is started is relaxed, as compared to a case where the engine is started based on a switch operation in an occupant cabin. That is, it is difficult to start the engine when the engine is started based on the remote operation, and it is easy to stop the engine when the engine is started based on the remote operation. As a result, it is possible to take more appropriate measures when the engine is started based on the remote operation.
Air conditioning control device
An air conditioning control device includes: a passenger determination unit that determines whether a passenger is in a self-driving vehicle; a travel determination unit that determines a traveling state of the self-driving vehicle; and a light blocking control unit that executes a light blocking air conditioning control for a vehicle cabin by operating a light blocking device to adjust solar radiation into the vehicle cabin from a window of the self-driving vehicle when the passenger determination unit and the travel determination unit determine that the self-driving vehicle is in an unmanned traveling condition.
ARRANGING TRIPS FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES BASED ON WEATHER CONDITIONS
Aspects of the disclosure provide for arranging trips for autonomous vehicles. For instance, a request for a trip may be received by one or more processors of one or more server computing devices. The request may identify an initial location. A weather condition at the initial location may be identified. One or more internal vehicle state conditions and one or more priorities for pulling over may be determined based on the weather condition. A second location may be determined based on the one or more priorities and the initial location. Dispatch instructions may be provided to an autonomous vehicle, the dispatch instructions identifying the second location and the one or more internal vehicle state conditions in order to cause computing devices of the autonomous vehicle to control the autonomous vehicle to the second location and adjust internal vehicle state conditions based on the one or more internal vehicle state conditions.
Intelligent in-vehicle air-quality control
A mechanism is provided for controlling the internal air-quality of a vehicle, including configuring a control policy that controls an internal air-quality of a vehicle and performing an action dictated by the control policy according to a window status of the vehicle.
