Vehicular heater
A vehicular heater includes a heat medium circuit connected to a heater core that heats vent air via heat exchange with a heat medium. The heat medium circuit includes a first flow path connected to the heater core through a power unit, and a second flow path arranged in parallel with the first flow path and connected to the heater core through a heat source different from the power unit. A controller adjusts a first flow rate of the heat medium in the first flow path to be larger than a second flow rate of the heat medium in the second flow path when the power unit is operating.
Two-port hydrodynamic heater
A hydrodynamic heater includes an inlet port for receiving a stream of fluid from an external source and an outlet port for discharging a stream of heated fluid from the hydrodynamic heater. A hydrodynamic chamber operates to selectively heat fluid present within an interior region of the hydrodynamic chamber. The hydrodynamic chamber includes an inlet port and an outlet port located along an interior wall of the hydrodynamic chamber. The hydrodynamic chamber inlet port is fluidly connected to the inlet port of the hydrodynamic heater. The hydrodynamic heater includes a fluid metering device having an inlet fluidly connected to the hydrodynamic heater inlet port and an outlet fluidly connected to the inlet port of the hydrodynamic chamber.
Thermal management system for range extender vehicle
An electric drivetrain for installation in a vehicle chassis. A generator coupled to an engine generates electric power for charging an array of batteries. The vehicle, including components and subsystems, may be powered electrically from the batteries, allowing the engine and generator to be easily replaced or customized for an industry, geographic region, fuel type, or a set of emission requirements. A thermal management system may determine a battery temperature for the set of batteries and cause one or more of a coolant system, a refrigerant system, an exhaust gas system or an ambient air heat exchanger to add heat to the set of batteries or transfer heat away from the set of batteries.
Air conditioner for vehicle
An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided and includes a dryer which is connected to an indoor air conditioner that adjusts the temperature and humidity within a vehicle. The air conditioner simultaneously dries a dry subject such as clothes, shoes or the like.

VEHICLE AIR-CONDITIONING CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle includes an engine, a generator driven by the engine to generate an electric power, and a high-voltage battery charged with the electric power. An air heating in a vehicle interior is implemented by waste heat of the engine through which a heat medium is circulated and heated, and an air heating in the vehicle interior is implemented by a heat pump device consuming the electric power of the electric storage device. A hybrid ECU performs air conditioning control, and includes a determination device that determines whether to implement the air heating by the waste heat or the air heating by the heat pump device based on an engine body temperature, and a heating control device that selectively implements the air heating by the waste heat and the air heating by the heat pump device based on a determination result of the determination device.
Air conditioner for vehicle
Disclosed therein is an air conditioner for a vehicle which includes a sealing member attached to one side of a door member of a mode door face-sealed with the inner face of an air-conditioning case by the inside wind pressure of the air-conditioning case so as to prevent vibration of the door member by wind pressure of the inside of the air-conditioning case and prevent air leakage from the face-sealed part, and which includes a rib formed on the door member for preventing excessive pressure of the sealing member in order to make actuating force of the door member uniform and to enhance a passenger's sense of manipulation.
Waste heat scavenging method and system for a work machine
A work machine including a prime mover, an electric motor, an electric motor fluid circuit, a transmission fluid circuit, a hydraulic circuit, a cooling circuit, a pump, and a controller. The electric motor may supply a portion of power of the prime mover. The electric motor fluid circuit may be adapted to remove waste heat from the electric motor. The transmission fluid circuit may be adapted to lubricate a moving part of a transmission powered by the prime mover. The hydraulic circuit may be adapted to transmit power from the prime mover to a moving component of the work machine. The cooling circuit may be absorbing waste heat from one or more of the electric motor fluid circuit, the transmission fluid circuit, and the hydraulic circuit. The control may be adapted to control diversion of a portion of waste heat from the cooling circuit to a portion of the cab.
