A heat exchanger unit is arranged in the heater housing (12′). Heating air flowing through the heater housing (12′) can flow around the heat exchanger unit. A combustion air intake muffler (76) is arranged essentially in the heater housing (12′). A muffler housing (78) made in one piece with the heater housing (12′) is associated with the combustion air blower (46′).

This present invention relates to a single body air treatment system for recreational vehicles and is a combination of components working in a scheme so to provide heating, cooling, dehumidification, ventilation, air-purification, heavy-duty drying, into a single body. The system comprising of a cooling air plant having a refrigerating cycle and air heat exchangers acting with electricity and a heating plant having an incorporated fuel/Natural-Gas burner acting as air furnace. The system operates heating and cooling simultaneously with in the same air-flow and provides air purification through an antibacterial electrical device. The system also integrates extra pipes to produce extra hot-water in winter while the system operates in heating. The system is integrated with a dedicated resonator chamber to minimize the external noise produce by extraction blowers.

Vehicle heater

A vehicle heater includes a burner area, a circumferential wall providing a combustion chamber, a flame tube with a first end forming or adjacent to a part of the combustion chamber circumferential wall and a second flame tube end. A heat exchanger housing has a circumferential wall enclosing the flame tube. A waste gas backflow space is formed, between an outer side of the flame tube and an inner side of the heat exchanger housing circumferential wall, with an inlet area at the second flame tube end and with an outlet area in the area of the first flame tube end. An inner dimension of the circumferential wall increases in the direction from an inlet area of the waste gas backflow space to an outlet area. An outer dimension of the flame tube increases in the direction from the second flame tube end to the first flame tube end.

The cast metal heat exchanger housing has an axial end face formed upon cutting off metallic material that is essentially at right angles to the housing longitudinal axis and extends into an area of at least some of the heat transfer ribs.
