Roof vent

A roof vent includes a roof disposed on a vehicle and a vent assembly. The vent assembly includes at least one vent unit disposed on the roof and configured to be popped up to the interior of the vehicle, a driving unit driving the vent unit, and at least one rack unit applying driving force of the driving unit to the vent unit. The vent unit is popped up or tilted by the driving unit.

Compression molded PRV sealing flap

A pressure relief valve flap includes an attachment portion, a main portion, and a hinge portion. The attachment portion is configured to be attached to the housing. The main portion has a lip and at least one damping feature. The lip extends around at least a portion of a periphery of the main portion. The hinge portion is disposed between and connects the main portion and the attachment portion. When the attachment portion is attached to the housing, the main portion is configured to move between a closed position and an opened position. When the main portion moves from the opened position to the closed position, the at least one damping feature is configured to engage the housing prior to the lip of the main portion and thereby dampen noise created when the lip of the main portion engages the housing.

A ventilation includes an inlet opening, an outlet opening, and a ventilation passage. The inlet opening is disposed in an interior space at a rear portion of a vehicle. The outlet opening exhausts air in the interior space that has passed through the inlet opening to the outside of the vehicle. The ventilation passage is formed by being surrounded by an interior member that faces the interior space and a vehicle body panel that covers the outside of the interior member, and allows communication between the inlet opening and the outlet opening. A shielding plate that extends to intersect a noise entry path from the outlet opening to the inlet opening is disposed in a middle of the ventilation passage.

Dual Flap Pressure Relief Valve

A pressure vent valve for ventilation of the interior of a motor vehicle, with a frame with at least one sealing surface and with at least one flexible valve flap mounted on the frame. In an idle position, the valve flap assembly abuts the sealing surface to prevent a flow of air through the pressure vent valve. When a sufficient pressure occurs, the valve flap assembly assumes an open position lifted from the sealing surface to allow a flow of air through the pressure vent valve. The valve flap assembly comprises a first flap sheet stacked upon a second flap sheet.

Air purging system

A vehicle air purging system includes a vehicle body that defines an interior. A support member is coupled to the vehicle body. The support member defines a receiving cavity. The support member defines an aperture proximate the receiving cavity. A one-way valve is coupled to the support member and is disposed within the aperture. A fan is coupled to the support member. The fan includes an outlet aligned with the aperture. A controller is operably coupled to the fan. The controller is configured to activate the fan to blow air from the interior to an area external to the vehicle body through the one-way valve.

Exhauster assembly for a vehicle

A mounting assembly for a silencer of an exhauster assembly includes a mounting plate. The mounting plate has an opening configured to receive an exhauster of the exhauster assembly while the exhauster is coupled to a structure of a vehicle at least partially separately from the mounting plate. In addition, the mounting plate has a first side configured to face the structure of the vehicle and a second side configured to face the silencer. The mounting assembly also includes at least one exhauster mounting feature configured to couple the mounting plate to the exhauster. Furthermore, the mounting assembly includes a silencer mounting feature configured to couple the silencer to the mounting plate.

A ventilation system is provided for persistent natural ventilation by circulation of air between an interior space and an external environment. In one example, the ventilation system includes an air intake including a domed upper cover with exterior windows which allow air to circulate through an upper chamber, a baffle around floatable elements, the baffle including an annular protective screen and valve windows, a lower chamber fluidly coupled to each of the upper chamber via the baffle and an interior duct via a main window thereof, wherein the interior duct is fluidly coupled to the interior space, and wherein the floatable elements are positioned on respective seats when no liquid is present, each of the seats spaced a distance opposite to a respective one of the valve windows. Responsive to liquid entering the upper chamber via the exterior windows, the valve windows may be automatically blocked by the floatable elements.

Air extractor grill for vehicle

An air extractor grill for a vehicle may include a housing fixedly mounted at a portion on the vehicle separating inside and outside spaces of the vehicle and provided with through holes having a plurality of grills, an outer cover coupled with one surface of an outside of the housing and having an opened inner space provided with a plurality of outer barrier ribs, and a plurality of valves including upper portions fitted between the housing and the outer cover to be closely disposed to the housing to seal the through holes when the outer cover is connected with the housing, the plurality of valves being operated to open the through holes while lower portions of the plurality of valves rotate toward the outer cover based on the fixed upper portions when air inside the vehicle needs to be discharged to the outside of the vehicle.

Vehicle ventilation module and device

A vehicle ventilation module for allowing air to exhaust from the inside of a vehicle compartment, comprising a carrier element to be mounted to the vehicle, the carrier element comprising: at least one vent opening for allowing air to exhaust from the inside of a vehicle compartment when the vehicle ventilation module is mounted to the vehicle; at least one flap being pivotable about a swivel axis at the carrier element between a close position and an open position, wherein the vent opening is covered by the flap in the close position and is at least partially uncovered by the flap in the open position so that air may flow through the vent opening; and an actuating mechanism coupled to the flap for pivoting the flap about its swivel axis from the close position to the open position. The actuating mechanism is actuated to pivot the flap to the open position by a current applied to the actuating mechanism.
